- Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails
- Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect relevant information and provide solutions
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while staying self-motivated
- Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers
- Properly document and update customer records based on interactions
- Meet personal and team quotas
- Attend trainings to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge
- Interacting directly with customers daily, directing drivers, and following all customer's procedures, as well as internal procedures.
- Handle customer complaints
- Provide information about our products and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of our evolving products and services
- Investigate customer complaints regarding lost or damaged merchandise or shortages in shipments to determine responsibility
- Scheule start time based on business needs
- Perform routine filing and maintenance if needed
- High school diploma/GED
- 2 years of Customer Service experience is preferred
- Comfortable using computers and customer management software
- Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of active listening techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Knowledge a of accounting -AP/AR a plus
- Experience in freight forwarding preferred
- Ability to pass drug screening and background check
- Must be able to work in the USA
