Join Our Team: Associate Golf Professional at Racine Country Club
Are you passionate about golf and ready to take your professional skills to the next level? Racine Country Club is looking for a motivated, energetic Associate Golf Professional to join our elite team for the 2025 golf season — running through November!
This is your opportunity to be part of one of Wisconsin’s premier private clubs, where tradition meets innovation and every day offers a chance to create memorable experiences for our Members. As an Associate Golf Professional, you’ll work alongside the Director of Golf (D.O.G.) to help lead day-to-day operations, deliver top-tier service, and shape the future of our golf programs.
This position is seasonal through November, but depending on individual performance and the Club’s business needs, it has the potential to become a permanent role.

What You’ll Be Doing
Every day brings something new — you’ll wear many hats and stay close to the action on and off the course:
  • Lead and support all facets of golf operations, including supervising outside services, starters, and rangers
  • Greet and check in Members, manage pace of play, and ensure smooth daily operations
  • Open and close the golf shop with professionalism and precision
  • Help plan and execute tournaments and events — from logistics to scoring to prize distribution
  • Support the D.O.G. in managing outside operations and upholding high service standards
  • Oversee the golf cart fleet, practice facility, and club storage area
  • Maintain the USGA Handicap System with accuracy and consistency
  • Assist with inventory control, special orders, retail displays, and golf shop sales
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless golf experiences across the club
  • Represent RCC with professionalism and pride

What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be a PGA pro, but a strong work ethic, a love for the game, and a drive to serve are a must:
  • PGA Level 2 Apprentice or higher, or a PGA Class B Member preferred (but not required)
  • Solid knowledge of the game of golf, its rules, and golf course operations preferred
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
  • Tech-savvy — comfortable using Microsoft Office and golf-related software
  • Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • A team player with a strong commitment to Member satisfaction

Education & Experience
  • A degree in business, hospitality, or related field is a plus — current students are encouraged to apply!
  • Ideal for college students or recent grads seeking a hands-on, golf-focused summer/fall job
  • Previous golf course or pro shop experience is helpful but not required — we’ll train the right candidate!

Why Racine Country Club?
Racine Country Club isn’t just a golf course — it’s a community. You’ll work in a positive, professional environment surrounded by people who love the game as much as you do. Plus, you’ll gain valuable experience in tournament planning, customer service, operations, and leadership — all while enjoying one of the most beautiful settings in the Midwest.
