Machine Operation: Log into assigned jobs and set up the Bliss C-22 according to work order packets, blueprints, and drawings. Select, adjust, and change tooling as needed. Load one part at a time into the die, using a pully safety system. Quality Assurance: Submit the first three pieces of every job to QA for inspection before proceeding. Regularly inspect and measure parts (at least every 30 minutes) using calipers, micrometers, and gauges; check for burrs, imperfections, and proper specs. Track part quantities accurately, tag finished pans with correct information and pay close attention to detail at every step. Die Setup & Maintenance: Learn to set up different dies for a variety of jobs; this means frequent lifting (50+ lbs.) and ensuring everything is tightened down safely.
