Ocean Spray is now hiring Production Operators at the Kenosha Bottling Plant. The plant is a 400,000 square facility that mixes and batches our concentrates to make Cranberry Sauce and Cranberry Juice products. It is a high-speed manufacturing facility with recent upgrades to the bottling lines. The Production Operator position is 12-hour rotating shift from 6am-6pm with every other weekend off. Production operators earn a starting pay rate of $22.97 per hour. There are opportunities to earn up to $28.48 per hour while training for higher paying positions as well. All positions are a year-round position, working indoors with three 30-minute paid breaks. Some responsibilities may include general housekeeping, support to Line Operators, assisting in the BDR, working in the Lab testing product, batching, unloading sugar trucks, helping the bulk line, working in the refinement area, stacking product, and assisting in rework/repack operations. This position will also require the personnel to be flexible and able to embrace schedule changes as manufacturing needs change often. What we are Looking for: Must be able to work in a 24/7 environment, 12hr shifts, every other weekend, and possibly some holidays. Must be flexible to work on the day shift or night shift. Ability to work overtime for vacation coverage and training purposes. Must maintain excellent attendance reliability. Perform Cleaning In Place (CIP) in all required areas. Ensure compliance with all Safety and Quality standards, processes, procedures. Skill and abilities needed: Ability to be or become Forklift Certified. Ability to lift up to 48 lbs on occasion. Ability to stand, perform, and maneuver around a plant and production line during a 12-hour shift (e.g., walking, lifting, climbing, bending, stretching and reaching, squatting, crawling under conveyors, using ladders, vision, hearing, and may require long periods of standing and frenzied activity). Ability to wear and work using fall and other protection equipment (e.g., Safety glasses with side shields, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, hairnets, rubber shoes, aprons or coveralls, smocks, gloves, and face shields). Ability to effectively use hand tools. Ability to apply understanding to stoppages of the production lines. Ocean Spray is now hiring Production Operators at the Kenosha Bottling Plant. The plant is a 400,000 square facility that mixes and batches our concentrates to make Cranberry Sauce and Cranberry Juice products. It is a high-speed manufacturing facility with recent upgrades to the bottling lines. The Production Operator position is 12-hour rotating shift from 6am-6pm with every other weekend off. Production operators earn a starting pay rate of $22.97 per hour. There are opportunities to earn up to $28.48 per hour while training for higher paying positions as well. All positions are a year-round position, working indoors with three 30-minute paid breaks.

Some responsibilities may include general housekeeping, support to Line Operators, assisting in the BDR, working in the Lab testing product, batching, unloading sugar trucks, helping the bulk line, working in the refinement area, stacking product, and assisting in rework/repack operations. This position will also require the personnel to be flexible and able to embrace schedule changes as manufacturing needs change often.

What we are Looking for:

  • Must be able to work in a 24/7 environment, 12hr shifts, every other weekend, and possibly some holidays.
  • Must be flexible to work on the day shift or night shift.
  • Ability to work overtime for vacation coverage and training purposes.
  • Must maintain excellent attendance reliability.
  • Perform Cleaning In Place (CIP) in all required areas.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety and Quality standards, processes, procedures.
  • Ensure proper operation of equipment (fill temperature, fill weights, torques, etc.)
  • No deviation from required documentation/ensure information is timely, accurate and complete.
  • Communicate with all operators on the same shift and between shifts to ensure continuous line productivity and effective operations.

Skill and abilities needed:

  • Ability to be or become Forklift Certified.
  • Ability to lift up to 48 lbs on occasion.
  • Ability to stand, perform, and maneuver around a plant and production line during a 12-hour shift (e.g., walking, lifting, climbing, bending, stretching and reaching, squatting, crawling under conveyors, using ladders, vision, hearing, and may require long periods of standing and frenzied activity).
  • Ability to wear and work using fall and other protection equipment (e.g., Safety glasses with side shields, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, hairnets, rubber shoes, aprons or coveralls, smocks, gloves, and face shields).
  • Ability to effectively use hand tools.
  • Ability to apply understanding to stoppages of the production lines.
