Job Description

Job Title: Scrub Tech – Interventional Radiology

Location: Gilbert, AZ

Hours & Schedule: Full Time or Part Time (PRN – Thursdays and Fridays to start)

Work Environment: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology Suite

Salary / Hourly Rate: $110,000 - $130,000 / year

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Operate conventional and fluoroscopic radiology equipment as directed
  • Assist physicians during procedures by handling and preparing instruments and supplies
  • Maintain adequate stock of supplies and open necessary items based on procedural need
  • Demonstrate critical thinking to deliver safe, effective patient care
  • Educate patients about procedures to ensure understanding and comfort
  • Create and update electronic medical records (EMR) accurately
  • Ensure radiographic images are stored correctly in PACS
  • Perform and document quality control checks in accordance with departmental policies
  • Clean and maintain radiographic equipment, making basic repairs as needed
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff
  • Support smooth workflow and maintain procedural readiness

Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:

  • Interventional Radiology Technologist-Surgical Technology Certification (Required)
  • Arizona State License
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
