JOB DESCRIPTION: The Trim Technician is responsible for the trimming of dried cannabis flower while complying with all state/local laws and company policy. Under the direction of the Post Production Manager, the Trim Technician prepares the cannabis flower for packaging while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, quality control, and professionalism. This role is responsible for evaluating and identifying any irregularities/contaminants with the material in accordance with company policy and state regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares the trimming station at the beginning of each shift for the processing of cannabis. Processes dried cannabis flower by carefully trimming away sugar leaves and fan leaves. Returns all trimmed cannabis, trim, waste, and sift upon completion of each allocation to the Trim Lead to record metrics. Assists with Fresh Frozen harvests. Ensures all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality, compliance, and successfully conforms to all state regulations, organizational standards and procedures, and security protocols. Works successfully in a team setting, takes instructions well, and helps with tasks as delegated by Lead or Manager. Manages time efficiently in order to meet productivity goals (minimum 454g per day trimmed), while consistently producing quality work at a steady pace. Maintains the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation inside the processing area and participates in the clean-up of equipment and the workplace at the end of every shift. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Performs product inspection for irregularities, particulates, and other contaminants. Additional benefits are listed at the end of this posting. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Operates, maintains, and performs minor upgrade projects on mechanical systems. This includes doing the monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/annual PMs and fixing any operational and maintenance issues that occur on the mechanical system. Responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of building and facility equipment, fixtures, and systems. Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains a wide variety of facility plumbing, mechanical, heating, and cooling systems. Conducts preventative maintenance inspections and performs required preventative maintenance duties. Assignments are semi-routine in nature. Work performed within generally defined parameters. Some degree of judgment is required in resolving nonstandard problems. Receives general instructions and reviews of job plans for all work. Requirements: Knowledge of the mechanical systems such as exhaust, chillers, boilers, air handlers, compressors, etc, operation. Experience performing general industrial mechanical work, including instrument calibrations. Written and verbal communication skills. Organization and time management skills. Able to adhere to a stringent environmental compliance culture and willing to work a compressed work week schedule. Work in clean room environments, must be able to wear PPE and air air-supplied respirator, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, and gloves. Operate a PIT forklift, pallet jack, and spend a considerable part of your day working in a mobile environment. Must have HVAC certification Preferences: 1 to 3 years of experience in: Facilities, preventative, and corrective maintenance. Physical Effort/Activities: May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs. at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift to 50 pounds.
