Make routine checks of facility ensuring safety and security. Complete interior and exterior building patrols 3-4 times each shift, noting any irregularities. Checking all secured area’s including computer and data rooms’, and electrical closets throughout AssistRx property. Train and work within the Brivo security database or similar. Load access cards in the system when required, add/delete access as needed. Be able to run database reports when requested by the department Security Manager. Work with established access groups within the security database Provide assistance in all emergency situations such as fire alarms, tornado warnings, medical emergencies, etc. Serve as the point of contact and chief warden during drills and live emergency situations at the facility. Be Familiar with all assembly area’s and escape routes, and coordinate drills annually. Assist HR and Security management on termination requests. Prepared to standby and give assistance as needed. Keep Security Management appraised and updated on all situations involving terminations. Ensure terminations are escorted from the building and leave the property The ability to generate and submit security incident reports as needed. Reports must be written and turned into Security Management in a timely manner. Able to perform all aspects of the CCTV system within the facility. Must be able to monitor and pull recorded video when requested by Security Management. The officer may be requested to pull video to send to the Security Manager (only) for review. Provide daily checks of the facility CCTV system. Must be able to take instructions and complete tasks as needed. Flexible to work overtime with the ability to stand post for long periods of time when needed Assist with generating facility Work Orders and provide the necessary follow-up until the work order is completed. General customer service work that involves greeting and assisting visitors, employees and vendors Perform any necessary follow-up tasks to ensure the facility is secure. Perform the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, warehousing and supplies inventory management, if necessary Process incoming and outgoing UPS, Fed-Ex, courier deliveries etc. and deliver packages and boxes to office recipients. Provide general facility support by fulfilling routine light maintenance work, room set up, for meetings and assisting in moving office equipment and furniture when requested. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Required knowledge of Microsoft software programs such as; Word and Excel and other Microsoft programs needed in the Security/facilities department. CPR/AED certification within 90 days of employment Experience managing supplies inventory. Ability to follow oral/written instructions: communicate effectively with Management, colleagues and external customers. Conduct effective building patrols, observe and report irregularities to Security Management. Experience with Security systems such as alarm monitoring, CCTV, fire monitoring, access control.
