Position Title: Student Loan Advocate (Inside Sales)
Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt, Full-Time, In-Office, Non-Remote
Hours: 8 hour shift, within the hours of 6am-6 pm (varies)
Pay: $60,000 - $150,000 per year. This position offers a base rate and UNCAPPED COMMISSION and 100% employer PAID medical benefits for employees AND whole family includes the Mayo Clinic!

Job Description:
As a Student Loan Advocate (Inside Sales), you are the first point of contact for Borrowers and Co-Borrowers struggling with the burden of private student loans. As an Advocate, you will listen to uncover their motivations, and dig deeper to understand their “why.” Handling inbound leads and outbound follow-ups while moving Borrowers and Co-Borrowers through the application process by gathering documents for underwriting and ensuring that we are helping each unique situation.
We are looking for someone who has a history of earning 100k+ a year in inbound sales.
100% warm leads, NO cold calling.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Communicate directly with potential borrowers and co-borrowers to understand customers' needs and options.
- Gather and verify validation documents.
- Manage queue of accounts and ensure work standards are met with customers and agencies.
- Help develop company reputation with agencies and solicit referrals.
- Support borrowers and co-borrowers from initial contact through underwriting.
- Responsible for meeting monthly minimum goals/results.
- Document all information accurately in the CRM.
- Attend mandatory weekly sales meetings.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure, especially during peak hours or intense situations.
- Experience in closing deals!
- Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Decisiveness and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
- Three (3) years of experience in consultative sales.
- Previous experience in cosmetic consultations, ie dentistry, plastic surgery, hair replacement, hair removal are welcomed.
- Debt relief/debt settlement are welcomed.
- Experience in the student lending field is preferred, but not necessary.
