POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager Operations Technology for Electric Vehicles (EV) plays a critical role in managing the strategic implementation and continuous improvement of fleet technology to improve operations and business benefits. The Manager directs technological operations by optimizing processes and ensuring compliance to internal organization standards. The Manager Operations Technology assesses system data and user reports to determine areas for improvement or repair. This role supports a core and foundational component of the Company's future-state roadmap and acts as a team leader to support efforts to integrate and execute our operational technology and process-based solutions.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees implementation & deployment of cutting edge EV charger technology. Works to anticipate deployment issues and develop mitigation options.
• Leads and owns all aspects of program and product development. Leads and supports the pre-planning, deployment, and ongoing adoption of fleet technologies and processes to Republic's field organization.
• Establishes and maintains logistical alignment across various vendors, developing products to meet business needs, outlining requirements and developing a comprehensive roadmap
• Monitors performance and deployment execution and proactively develops recommendations on improvements and efficiencies for process and programmatic changes.
• Monitors staff and technical vendor performance, drives performance improvement initiatives, and ensures that service levels meet or exceed agreed upon standards. Coaches and develops a team of professionals to assist in their development and attainment of necessary skills to lift performance.
• Manages and provides technical expertise, guidance, and leadership to the Implementation team and other key stakeholders.
• Serves as key project lead, providing updates to cross-functional teams, leadership, and the field to ensure alignment across the organization on key project goals and deliverables.
• Manages vendor relations and engages in industry networking to uncover new technologies and foster relationships. Leads and executes new technology pilots and builds business cases around proven technology aimed at driving operational business benefits.
• Other non-essential duties as assigned or may be necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with EV charging technology, utilities, and/or charging infrastructure management preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with building and managing Smartsheets or similar tool preferred.
• Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking, and an ability to execute against formulated strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives.
• Ability to manage, lead, and develop a results-driven team.
• Knowledge of technical product development, technology deployments, and fleet implementations.
• Ability to understand and solve complex business challenges and their interrelations across various business functions.
• Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team and ability to lead, influence, and motivate others.
• Effective planning and prioritizing multiple cross-functional project skills.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4 - 7 Years of overall relevant work experience.
• Experience as a Project or Program Manager

The Republic Services Polymer Center is the nation's first integrated plastics recycling facility. This innovative site processes rigid plastics from our recycling centers, producing recycled materials that promote true bottle-to-bottle circularity. We also formed Blue Polymers, a joint venture with Ravago, to develop facilities that will further process plastic material from our Polymer Centers to help meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging. We are building a network of Polymer Centers and Blue Polymer facilities across North America.

We continue to advance decarbonization at our landfills. As demand for renewable energy continues to grow, we have 70 landfill gas-to-energy projects in operation and plan to expand our portfolio to 115 projects by 2028.
