Job Description

Join Axon and be a Force for Good.

At Axon, we're on a mission to Protect Life. We're explorers, pursuing society's most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.

Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you'll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.

Axon Aid is the social responsibility arm of our business (axon.com/aid). Our team oversees strategic corporate philanthropic initiatives, employee engagement, and local giving. We focus on supporting public safety through a number of programs including emergency response, mental health and resilience, and volunteerism across the broader Axon team. You will have the opportunity to help people in meaningful ways and tackle new challenges as they arise - for example, this team led Axon's multi-million-dollar COVID-19 response, shipping PPE to public safety agencies in over six countries at the start of the pandemic.

In this role, you'll guide the next chapter of Axon Aid by piloting a 2026 flagship initiative that brings regional events to life for our customers and their families, while also leading core Axon Aid programs. You'll manage philanthropic initiatives, external partnerships, and community engagement efforts, and you'll serve as a flexible partner within the Employee Experience team by supporting culture activations, events, and special projects that strengthen the employee experience.

This role requires both strategic and operational skill - someone who can manage programs independently, build strong relationships, and adapt quickly to deliver meaningful impact for Axon employees and the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

Work Location: This role is based out of our Scottsdale HQ and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.

  • Own all Axon Aid philanthropic initiatives, including: the Axon Aid Family First Fund, employee volunteerism and special events.
  • Utilize strong program and partnership management skills to manage a fast paced and growing partner portfolio across Axon Aid programs. Partners include: wellness network and speakers, volunteer organizations.
  • Play a key role in crafting external program communications, marketing and thought leadership opportunities. Responsibilities span across: managing Axon Aid email lists and external partners, coordinating wellness launch promotion, messaging volunteer impact, etc.
  • Leverage entrepreneurship expertise to support wellness programs in strategic projects.
  • Integrate value-add employee engagement opportunities into Axon Aid to grow a culture of service and philanthropic impact.
  • Execute and operationalize strategies and initiatives created by team leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Contribute to employee experience projects such as company events, culture activations, and unique engagement moments.
  • Track and report on program performance metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

  • Background of at least 2 years in program/project management; knowledge about impact measurement.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing high-impact programs and partnerships, and executing effective employee volunteering programming.
  • High-level organizational and project management skills; adept at planning and executing all aspects of program events.
  • Results-oriented, with unquestionable commitment to high quality work.
  • Collaborative and strong team player, a true problem solver with a build to scale mentality.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to work in a self-directed fashion while moving at a fast pace.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that can be adaptable across various communication styles and channels.
  • Knowledge of corporate philanthropy a plus.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the following industry sectors highly preferred: public safety, emergency response, mental health and wellness, corporate volunteering, employee experience.
