We are looking for a Staff Salesforce Developer  to help lead the growth of Lucid’s Salesforce environment designing the CPQ solutions using Revenue Cloud. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of elegant solutions in our Salesforce instance. The Manager of State Public Policy within Lucid’s External Affairs division is a critical role that leads advocacy of the company’s policy positions in statehouses and municipalities across U.S. States. We are looking for a Staff Salesforce Developer  to help lead the growth of Lucid’s Salesforce environment designing the CPQ solutions using Revenue Cloud. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of elegant solutions in our Salesforce instance. You will join the Retail and Commerce Systems team and collaborate with our Sales, Marketing, Service, Finance and Data Engineering leaders to translate business needs into efficient solutions within the system.

The ideal candidate has a background in sales, marketing and customer service systems, has proven success in a Salesforce developer/Tech Lead/Architect role, and has the desire to be a thought-leader on a quickly growing team.


Must have qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or related technical field is required or Master’s degree is required.

  • Proven experience in design, development, and implementation of Salesforce.com solutions spanning Sales, Marketing, Services and Customer support is preferred in Manufacturing domain.

  • Expertise in designing and implementing Salesforce CPQ solutions, highly preferred to have knowledge using Revenue Cloud (RLM)

  • Previous experience in implementing global Price Books, product catalogues and managing global currency pricing.

  • 10+ years of software development experience in designing complex, enterprise-wide business solutions.

  • 5+ years of Salesforce Development experience on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

  • Minimum 2+ year hands-on experience in designing and building 3rd party system integrations with Salesforce.

  • Technical ownership of projects and managing resources

  • Good oral and written communication skills with excellent collaborations skills.

  • Must be able to work on-site at least 3 days a week and work flexible hours to collaborate with Global IT and business team members.

  • Experience and knowledge of Salesforce.com and external integrations using Workato or other middleware technologies.


Technical Expertise



  • Good knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Trigger, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, CSS, SOQL/SOSL, API, Force.com.

  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community, as the Force.com

  • Experience in enterprise-level Salesforce projects using both waterfall and agile software development methodologies.

  • Experience in Salesforce configuration, including flows, validation rules, and security controls.

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems, as well as working with integration tools (ETL, marketing automation, reporting, etc.)

  • Experience with single-org deployments and multi-org consolidations.

  • Solid understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies Manufacturing company experience

  • Domestic and international implementation experience.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
