As a Construction Project Manager - Cabinetry, you will serve as the point of contact for field operations, focused on long-term projects with large builders. In the field, you will connect with the builder's superintendent or field operations ensuring the job site is running appropriately. Daily duties include taking ownership of a job and corresponding community from the contract issuance to 100% completion. Additionally, you will have oversight on cabinets and parts ordered, along with coordinating installation and handling any vital punch work. Qualifications 5+ year's Cabinetry experience or equivalent combination of education and construction project management or project coordination experience, required. Prior experience directly installing cabinets, preferred Experience reading blueprints, building plans or drawings and proficiency with CAD programs such as 20/20, highly preferred Ability to function optimally without daily oversight from management. Excellent verbal and presentation skills. Proven attention to detail coupled with organizational skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills. As a Construction Project Manager - Cabinetry, you will serve as the point of contact for field operations, focused on long-term projects with large builders. In the field, you will connect with the builder's superintendent or field operations ensuring the job site is running appropriately. Daily duties include taking ownership of a job and corresponding community from the contract issuance to 100% completion. Additionally, you will have oversight on cabinets and parts ordered, along with coordinating installation and handling any vital punch work. This is territory based role that requires regular field- based travel, in the greater Port Saint Lucie, Broward and Palm Beach area. This role offers remote flexibility when not conducting site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cabinetry installation projects and provide field operation oversight, leadership and subject matter expertise to customers, contractors, vendors and internal partners.

  • Partner with the design team on custom drawings and provide feedback on engineering.

  • Approve cabinet, hardware and parts orders based on field dimensions.

  • Coordinate installations and delivery.

  • Oversee installers and provide direction where necessary.

  • Perform field dimensions and post installation quality assurance walkthroughs.

  • Work on punch list items for newly installed cabinets in homes.

  • Load orders for vital parts and pieces from quality assurance walks.

  • Professionally and courteously interact with customers and builder contacts.

  • Develop positive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and company management.

  • Prompt and reliable attendance.

  • Additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ year's Cabinetry experience or equivalent combination of education and construction project management or project coordination experience, required.

  • Prior experience directly installing cabinets, preferred

  • Experience reading blueprints, building plans or drawings and proficiency with CAD programs such as 20/20, highly preferred

  • Ability to function optimally without daily oversight from management.

  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills.

  • Proven attention to detail coupled with organizational skills.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient use of computer systems such as Microsoft Office and web-based data systems.

  • Ability to travel within assigned territory.
