MEC is looking to add a Commercial Construction Estimator for commercial jobs ranging in size from $1 to $30 million. Ideal applicant would have at least 5 years experience in the construction field or applicable degree. Applicant must have the ability to interface with both clients and subcontractors while estimating and or managing projects. Ideal candidate would like to live long term in the Orlando area and grow with the company.

An Estimator is responsible for taking a construction project from Design RFP to construction kickoff by calculating the cost of labor or materials that is required for a construction project, assisting in negotiating contract with owner or owners' rep, performing subcontractor selection and signup, and performing project handoff to selected Project Manager/Superintendent team.
