Job Description
Kaleidoscope ABA is looking for Behavior Technicians to join our growing team! What do we offer BTs? Competitive and consistent pay Mon-Friday set schedule - NO weekends or late nights Clinical support from experienced clinicians and collaboration RBT training and certification BCBA fieldwork hours (restricted + unrestricted) Hands-on initial and ongoing, client specific, training Monthly ongoing paid professional development webinars on a variety of clinical topics Description: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children under the clinical supervision of a BCBA. The behavior technician will follow individualized treatment plans, behavior plans, and other clinical instructions to deliver quality therapeutic services to each child and the family. Requirements: Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience providing ASD treatment to children Must be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certification/First Aid certification and re-certification every 2 years. Successful completion and maintenance of Safety Care Training. Effective oral and written communication skills. Reliable means of transportation, if using own vehicle, must have valid state driver’s license and current automobile insurance. Physical Demands: Must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, computer typing, standing, fetching documents from file cabinets). Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities. Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.). Mental Demands: Ability to respond effectively to varied demands of the child, family, supervisor, and other team members. Ability to multi-task and take descriptive and accurate documentation. Ability to use strategy and make quick intelligent decisions. Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations with the student that may occur at home, at school, or out in the community, Ability to problem solve as well as respond in a proactive and professional manner.
