Your Role on Our Team : The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility and cell equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance tasks. This role involves contributing to team efforts through participation in projects and assisting with coworker training as needed. Key responsibilities include managing multiple assignments, completing PM tasks on time, practicing effective time management, coordinating with operations, collaborating with engineering, identifying and communicating machine issues, documenting project completions, maintaining a clean workspace, learning new processes, and proactively seeking opportunities for improvement. You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including checking and changing oil levels, replacing filters, and greasing machinery. Conduct routine facility maintenance tasks such as painting, maintaining lighting systems, and handling basic plumbing repairs. Troubleshoot and resolve production and maintenance issues, including repairing or adapting equipment by replacing air and coolant lines, switches, belts, and guards. Utilize computer systems to log maintenance work orders, manage spare parts, and update preventative maintenance schedules. Identify potential equipment failures and initiate corrective actions to prevent downtime. Perform general fabrication work using materials such as wood, metal, and plastic. Respond promptly to operator requests and collaborate with other support personnel as needed. Ensure effective communication with shift and plant-wide personnel to maintain operational continuity. Rebuild or replace broken fixtures and operations tools, ensuring functionality and safety. Operate personnel lifts and forklifts safely and efficiently. Ensure replacement parts are ordered for equipment repairs or upgrades. Adhere to all workplace safety requirements and practice 6S and lean manufacturing principles. Work collaboratively to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems. Support continuous improvement initiatives by implementing efficiency-enhancing solutions. ​ The TOOLS you’ll bring with you: Tech School classes are preferred E xperience in industrial, preventive and /or facility maintenance Experience in identify and troubleshooting common maintenance issues with some guidance from more experienced technicians. Your Role on Our Team:

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility and cell equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance tasks. This role involves contributing to team efforts through participation in projects and assisting with coworker training as needed. Key responsibilities include managing multiple assignments, completing PM tasks on time, practicing effective time management, coordinating with operations, collaborating with engineering, identifying and communicating machine issues, documenting project completions, maintaining a clean workspace, learning new processes, and proactively seeking opportunities for improvement.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including checking and changing oil levels, replacing filters, and greasing machinery.

  • Conduct routine facility maintenance tasks such as painting, maintaining lighting systems, and handling basic plumbing repairs.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production and maintenance issues, including repairing or adapting equipment by replacing airand coolant lines, switches, belts, and guards.

  • Utilize computer systems to log maintenance work orders, manage spare parts, and update preventative maintenance schedules.

  • Identify potential equipment failures and initiate corrective actions to prevent downtime.

  • Perform general fabrication work using materials such as wood, metal, and plastic.

  • Respond promptly to operator requests and collaborate with other support personnel as needed.

  • Ensure effective communication with shift and plant-wide personnel to maintain operational continuity.

  • Rebuild or replace broken fixtures and operations tools, ensuring functionality and safety.

  • Operate personnel lifts and forklifts safely and efficiently.

  • Ensure replacement parts are ordered for equipment repairs or upgrades.

  • Adhere to all workplace safety requirements and practice 6S and lean manufacturing principles.

  • Work collaboratively to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by implementing efficiency-enhancing solutions.

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

    • Tech School classes are preferred

    • Experience in industrial, preventive and/or facility maintenance

    • Experience in identify and troubleshooting common maintenance issues with some guidance from more experienced technicians.

    • Valid drivers license 

    • 0-5+years in the industry

    • Basic computer knowledge and skills in MS Office and ERP systems

    Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

    • Basic electrical, plumbing, and/or HVAC systems experience 

    • Tool & die repair experience

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    • The employee may be required to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds

    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

    • Prolonged standing of eight or more hours a day

    • Frequent walking

    • Occasional bending, crouching, twisting, and reaching
