CMES, Inc. has opportunities for highly-motivated and hard-working Survey Tech with a desire to learn and grow professionally. This paid position will report to a Survey Team Leader and will be introduced to and utilized in surveying work both in the field and in the office.
Typical work includes but is not limited to: working as a member of a survey crew; performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction surveys; setting up and operating survey equipment; performing survey calculations; performing all aspects of stakeout and locations surveys; and drafting or modeling in software like AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Geopak. CMES, Inc.is willing to expend the time and resources necessary to train and develop the selected individual.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Able to work outside in diverse weather conditions, often working near equipment or machinery on rough, uneven, rocky or slippery surfaces
- Able to stand, walk, reach, balance, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be at least 18 years old
