Cross train to work in all areas of the Hospital and Clinics. Be a runner during emergencies. Clean up unexpected accidents, spills, blood, and body wastes. Deliver and stock linen, gloves, needle boxes to Hospital departments and send same as needed to Clinics. Operate floor cleaning machine, buffers, wet/dry vacuum, etc. Be aware of Material Safety Data Sheets information for all Housekeeping areas. Know all safety codes, i.e. fire, tornado, disaster, blackout, security breach, etc. Be knowledgeable of all chemicals, disinfectants, equipment, supplies and the appropriate use in all areas of the hospital and clinics.
