JOB SUMMARY: Under the guidance and supervision of the Registered Nurse, participates as a member of the OR team in planning, preparing, and producing a safe and effective OR experience for patients undergoing surgery. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION: Education: · High school diploma or equivalent required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Prepares and checks assigned cases for appropriate instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment necessary for each procedure · Follows aseptic technique when opening sterile supplies, setting up cases, scrubbing, gowning and draping as observed. Reports any break in aseptic technique. · Maintains an orderly back table and mayo stand during procedure following established routine set-up as observed. · Assist Circulating Nurse in performing sponge, needle, and instrument counts; immediately reports discrepancies and/or corrections as documented and observed. · Consistently demonstrates proper handling of instruments and equipment to avoid damage and loss as observed. · Keeps surgeon preference cards up to date as documented and observed. · Demonstrates an ability to perform scrub duties as outlined in procedure manual, as observed. · Assists with application of dressings and transfers patient. · Assists with general cleaning of room and sets up next case as observed. · Demonstrates the ability to adapt to changes in the workload and work as part of the team to finish the schedule as observed. · Assists other staff members with completion of routine duties of the department as observed. · Assists with the orientation of new personnel as assigned. · Maintains confidentiality of all patients, Center and physician information; respects the patient’s privacy. · Perform duties in a safe manner. · Demonstrates an awareness of patient safety and proper body mechanics when moving patients or equipment. · Checks assigned OR equipment before case to ensure proper functioning; immediately reports any inoperative or malfunctioning equipment · Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of departmental safety policies and procedures; participates in identification and evaluation of potential department safety problems and precautions as observed and documented. · Adheres to department specific OSHA and infection control guidelines regarding health maintenance and infection prevention 100% of the time as observed and documented. · May function as backup in the instrument room – must be able to wash, sterilize and wrap instruments. · May take on extra responsibilities such as special projects, research, etc. · Functions in the role of OR float team, working in collaboration with Charge and management team in decision making process and maintaining efficiency within the ASC day-to-day operations. · Other duties as assigned.

This position will perform inspection processes for WIP, final, and secondary ops to ensure conformance to specifications. Position Summary: The Non-Certified Pharmacy Technician – Medically Integrated Dispensing (MID) supports safe and timely pharmaceutical care delivery as part of the Bozeman Health Cancer Center’s oral oncology program. This role operates under a Collaborative Practice Agreement to assist with patient care and facilitate medication access for oral oncolytics. The technician holds a Provisional Certified Pharmacy Technician license through the Montana Board of Pharmacy and contributes to pharmacy operations, inventory, and patient engagement under the direction of a licensed pharmacist. Minimum Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least eighteen (18) years of age. Current Montana Provisional Certified Pharmacy Technician License, or ability to complete within orientation period. Eligibility to obtain National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) within twelve (12) months of hire. Preferred: One (1) year of pharmacy technician experience. Prior experience in customer service roles. Essential Job Functions: In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements. Supports a Collaborative Practice Agreement (CPA) between oncology providers and pharmacists. Coordinates affordable and timely patient access to oral oncolytic medications. Communicates professionally and clearly with patients during onboarding and throughout the oral oncology program. Obtains medication histories and verifies the accuracy of home medication use during patient intake. Documents medication histories within the electronic health record and notifies the pharmacist of relevant updates. Coordinates with healthcare professionals to facilitate patient enrollment in financial assistance programs. Assists the pharmacist with prescription processing, including accurate filling, data entry, labeling, and charging. Maintains drug inventory to support dispensing needs. Supports pharmacy workflow functions within the oncology setting as assigned by pharmacy leadership. Completes record keeping, billing reports, audits, and quality improvement tasks as assigned.
