Prepares reports and ensures action is taken to correct problems noted. Performs two-dimensional, color Doppler and Doppler of the heart echocardiograms and other procedures, which requires a level of knowledge to interpret or analyze test performance and results. Assists in the daily supervision of the echo technicians in the implementation of testing for patient care. Evaluates quality of tests being performed and provides guidance and constructive criticism and demonstrates appropriate methods as necessary to correct deviations from established procedures. Assists in the evaluation of the hiring and terminating of employees in the Echo lab, following the established Laboratory and Hospital guidelines. Job Description Job Title: Per Diem Mammography Tech Department: Imaging Essential Job functions: Produces quality mammography images for interpretation. Assumes responsibility for patient safety by utilizing proper exposure and protective measures. Educates and explains procedures to patients. Follows appropriate departmental protocol for procedures unless otherwise specified by the Radiologist. Obtains and documents, patient history and pertinent information. Insures proper identification of patient and patient demographics in PACS. Communicates with attending Radiologists and verifies provider orders. Adheres to infection control standards specific to patient care. Prioritizes and organizes work assignments and adjusts priorities, based on changing business situations. Operates medical imaging equipment properly and safely. Demonstrates awareness of Radiation Safety Procedures for self and others. Ensure equipment is in acceptable condition by conducting routine quality control checks. Follows department protocols in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms. Follows regulatory guidelines and performs QA/QC as mandated by ACR/ MQSA. Follows mammography procedures for needle localizations and stereotactic biopsies as required. General Job functions: Demonstrate knowledge and compliance of safety, OSHA, and HIPPA regulations. Must be organized, self-motivated and efficient while working well with others in a team setting. Must always deliver compassionate patient care with satisfaction a priority. Must adhere to ALARA principles while delivering quality, safe patient imaging at all times. Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly work environment. Other job duties as required. Attends departmental meetings as required. Education, Certification, Computer and Training Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT) (R) required Advanced registry in Mammography, (M), required Must have current NJ State Radiographer License in good standing. Current BLS certification is required. 2+ years' experience performing Mammography required. The ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing. Must be familiar with and utilize an Electronic Medical Record System, RIS and PACS System. Pay Range: $40.38 - $50.48 Hourly The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience and location of position. Job Description

The Ultrasound Tech performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures and provides high quality care for patients of all ages from neonatal to geriatric. Works in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment with reliance on your expertise, professionalism and collaboration. Produces diagnostic ultrasound images in accordance with department scanning protocols under the general supervision of a Radiologist. Interacts with patients, physicians and staff in a professional and friendly manner.

Education

Satisfactory completion of an accredited Sonography program.

Experience

(2) years of clinical diagnostic ultrasound experience is preferred.

Certification & Licensures

ARDMS Certification in at least (1) speciality required

BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required*

Additional RDMS certification in which the department is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) in accordance with the accrediting body's guidelines.

  • New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.

Qualifications

Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology for accurate medical diagnosis as associated with ultrasound.
