DOE Shift Differential: $1.00/Hour Essential Functions: Perform preventative maintenance on PLC systems Program or perform repairs on PLC systems Perform preventative maintenance or repairs on more advanced production equipment as needed Perform breakdown analysis Perform electrical wiring and motor controls troubleshooting and repair Maintain PLC networks Oversee or perform general housekeeping Upgrade production lines with new/upgraded equipment/technology Direct activities of outside contractors working on assigned line Change line for package changeovers Understand and complete PLC control updates and revisions to support V curve performance Able to troubleshoot and write code in Ladder Logic and or function block Able to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on Device Net Track all temporary repairs made in logic via CMMS/EXCEL and follow through to bring equipment back to basic conditions Able to accomplish tasks with minimal guidance Enforce GMP, safety, and audit standards Work independently under limited supervision (self-management) Meticulous Documentation of work schedule and work tasks completed Required Skills and Competencies: Pass technical assessment addressing job-critical maintenance knowledge areas Experience with basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays). Experience with electrical systems (installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting) Experience with electronics (e.g., level probes, flow meters, drives/VFDs, etc.). Experience with PLC (e.g., industrial maintenance, computer control systems, etc.). Experience with product manuals (e.g., reading and applying knowledge to make repairs). Experience with schematics (e.g., electrical blueprints with switches, starters, maps, relays). Experience with troubleshooting (e.g., diagnostics, problem solving, etc.). Proficiency Level: Intermediate to Advance Education and Experience: BS in Control Engineering or equivalent demonstrated skill Working Conditions: Physical-Continuously standing or walking. Regular requirements to lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight. Visual/Sensory-This position requires regular need to give moderate attention with one or two senses at a time. Job Description

Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:

  1. Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns, and extraneous radiation to patients.
  2. Responsible for safe handling of equipment and films.
  3. Instructs and prepares patients for roentgenographic and/or fluoroscopic examinations.
  4. Selects appropriate equipment to use for procedure.
  5. Determines most suitable anatomical posture and positions and shields patients accordingly. Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure - makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
  6. Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
  7. Makes special radiographic examinations requiring special equipment and procedures such as: intravenous pyelograms, intravenous cholangiograms, bronchograms, mammograms, hysterosalpingograms, tomograms, cholangiography, arthrograms, myelograms and hip pinnings in surgery.
  8. Programs portable or stationary x-ray machines and makes radiograms for a variety of examinations.
  9. Processes x-ray film, if a darkroom technician is not available.
  10. Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures.
  11. Assists in maintaining basic records and reports.
  12. Assists in maintaining files.
  13. Assists in training of students and ancillary personnel.
  14. Takes CAT and x-ray calls according to monthly schedule after the closing of the regular department hours.
