Positions range from permanent clinical float roles (Full time or Part Time) to Seasonal 13-week assignments with significantly higher base pay. TGH Crystal River is a 128-bed Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital which opened in 1978. In keeping with their heritage, the hospital provides quality, compassionate healthcare to residents of Citrus County and surrounding areas. TGH Crystal River care services include a dedicated orthopedic bone and joint center, cardiac catheterization lab and freestanding emergency department in Citrus Hills. Surgical services include robotic-arm assisted, minimally invasive options for general and bariatric surgeries. TGH Crystal River is designated as an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention), and Accredited Heart Failure Center and is a Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center.

Functions under the direct supervision of the RN-Surgery. Provides technical services and assists in the operating room by providing the required sterile instruments, supplies and equipment. Maintains the sterile field and anticipates and responds to the needs of the surgical team.

Education: Minimal education: graduate of an accredited surgical technology program

Experience: 1-2 years surgical technician experience, hospital setting preferred.

Basic computer skills

Effective oral and written communication

Licenses/Certificates: BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
