Responsibilities Responds to requests for room setups per daily schedule. Follow all company Procedures, policies and rules. Deliver and setup additional furniture as necessary. Knockdown and properly store furniture as necessary. Maintain daily tracking log sheet. Maintain clean working area. Any other duties requested by management. Installing new cork and white boards. Removal, relocation and reinstallation of cork and white boards. Removal and disposal of damaged cork and white boards. Hanging of pictures, plaques and banners. Installation of under the desk keyboard tray. Wall mounting of large or oversized white and cork boards. Clean up of work area after installation. Track and report time spent on work orders. Hang other customer items as necessary. Responds to requests for materials in support of facilities maintenance contract personnel and vendors. Locates requested material in automated inventory system. Initiates system query and clarifies proper selection of item with requestor as necessary. Verifies that the queried item is available by locating it in the warehouse. Pick material for distribution. Assemble Furniture i.e. Peds, desks, round tables. Operate a pallet jack, forklift or flatbed when appropriate to pick, store, and transport material. Occasional Floor Work (Monthly and Quarterly) and work on special projects: Spot cleaning, shampooing of carpets, high dusting) Qualifications Highschool Diploma/GED 2+ year min experience in Custodial/Floor Care or Maintenance experience. The Sterilization Technician II focuses heavily on steam sterilizers, washer decontaminators, cart washers, internal steam generators, stand alone steam generators, and all supporting equipment. Job Description

This is a temporary position with potential to convert to a permanent/full time role. We are seeking coverage from March-May, 4-5 days per week. This role will support our OBGYN practices in Bloomfield, Wethersfield, and Hartford.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

  • Obtains essential information from patients, medical records and previous exams for clinical correlation

  • Performs ultrasound scans and provides direct patient care as needed after proper confirmation of study and patient identification

  • Effectively communicates differentials to interpreting physicians

  • Generates accurate computerized reports for the physicians' review

  • Upon completion of the ultrasound exam, verifying proper documentation in ultrasound reporting system

  • Ensures that each assigned room is properly stocked and is prepared for smooth daily patient flow

  • Assists with all aspects of sterile ultrasound guided procedures as directed by the interpreting MD

  • Prepares the necessary supplies and paperwork to support the physician for sterile procedures

  • Observes and follows safety procedures including universal precautions

  • Maintains proper HIPPA compliance while maintaining a familiarity to any changes regarding technology and the safety for self, patients and visitors

  • Operates the equipment to acquire a variety of imaging results, reports deficiencies to the proper personnel for rectification of any concerns

  • Assists with back-up coverage for any unscheduled PTO call outs

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program

  • Active Registry by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS)

  • Strong computer skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willing to rotate to different locations based on departmental needs.
