MS Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology: Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology is the global technology department responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) business. The department is comprised of 10 organizations: Sales, Banking & Corporate-Client Technology, Investment Products & Markets Technology, Client Reporting, Core Processing, Private and International Wealth Management Technology, Technology Integration Office, Enterprise Infrastructure & Production Management, Capital Markets, Application & Data Services, Deployment Planning & Release Management, and the Chief Operating Office. The Technology Delivery Management team is responsible for program management, project management and leading execution for various initiatives within MSWM leveraging both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. The team leads critical efforts related to the complete lifecycle of the programs and projects. The team works closely with our business partners to identify priorities, define scope, secure the related funding, and partners with the development teams to execute and deliver the software. This group is also responsible for transitioning teams to an Agile operating model and efficiently manage software delivery with Scrum or Kanban teams. We are seeking an experienced Agile Leader Fleet Delivery Lead to manage the delivery of the ETrade/Morgan Stanley portfolio within Wealth Management Technology. The candidate will manage a team of scrum masters that support multiple squads executing on a multi-year strategy to build out business capabilities for Morgan Stanley's Wealth Management clients. The candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across business and technology to steer teams towards successful outcomes. The candidate will be expected to accommodate multiple time zones, as teams are located in both North America and Asia. What you’ll do in the role: Partnering with stakeholders to define, align and prioritize portfolio level roadmaps for Agile delivery Identifying and removing impediments and working with teams across the organization to track dependencies Facilitating forums with stakeholders to keep teams abreast of progress, issues and risks Tracking and monitoring financials to stay within program budgets Coaching team members on Agile methodologies using industry and Morgan Stanley identified best practices Partner and drive consensus and decision making across all levels, locations, and cross-functional partners Serve as strategic partner with tech area leads and fleet leads Build relationships, gain consensus and help remove tensions/roadblocks Hire, develop, mentor and coach high performing team of Scrum Masters Develop strategic roadmaps and resource plans with leadership team Help teams be more efficient, see the big picture and ensure processes scale appropriately Run or help others run enterprise level programs utilizing program management methodologies and best practices What you’ll bring to the role: Knowledge of the Financial Services industry, as well as a proven track record of delivering large-scale initiatives in a high paced and demanding environment Ability to see the big picture and provide clarity in ambiguous situations to achieve efficiency and productivity at an individual team, program, and enterprise level Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with experience in managing Scrum Teams. Ability to influence & navigate across an organization without boundaries. Experience with conflict management and embody negotiation skills. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $170,000 and $225,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
