Shift: 7pm-7:30am (2-2-3 Schedule) Essential Job Functions: Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard toe and slip/oil resistant shoes, appropriate safety gloves, and seatbelts while operating forklifts) Responsible for adhering to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF). Understand and follow the blow molding process “Sequence of Operation.” Start, operate, monitor, and shut down all blow mold area equipment efficiently and safely. Conduct and document all required quality checks including bottle weights, visual defects, torque, and pressure tests. Perform changeovers, equipment setups, and bottle format changes for different resins, bottle types, packages, suppliers, and lines. Troubleshoot processes or equipment malfunctions; escalate unresolved issues to maintenance or supervision as needed. Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks and assist technicians with corrective maintenance activities. Maintain a clean and organized work environment through regular housekeeping and sanitation (CIP). Load materials using a forklift, including preforms, chemicals, and packaging supplies; follow all forklift safety protocols. Monitor machine alarms and downtime; utilize HMI panels and system diagnostics to resolve issues promptly. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including production logs, maintenance records, and quality reports. Collaborate with quality, maintenance, warehouse, and production teams to maximize efficiency and reduce waste. Support startup of new bottles, resins, lines, or supplier transitions; assist with initial testing and troubleshooting. Participate in audits, line trials, and overhauls of equipment. Actively participates in Quality training and Good Manufacturing Practice meetings to assist in continuous improvement of plant operations. Serve as a key contributor to process improvements, SOP/SPL development, and operational best practices. Act as a lead trainer for onboarding and cross-training Blow Mold Technicians and Operators. Communicate critical operational updates between shifts and departments, including daily performance and downtime. Assist leadership in identifying and prioritizing daily goals and contribute to long-term planning initiatives. Required Skills: Working knowledge of English required for operational, safety, and procedural understanding. Proficiency in operating blow molding equipment and interpreting machine controls and alarms. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure. A strong mathematical ability is essential. Ability to visually distinguish fine variations in color and other visual defects. Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to identify and correct basic equipment malfunctions. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision. Safety Awareness – knowledge of safety protocols, hazard identification, and adherence to safety regulations at all times. Timely and accurately completes monthly Alchemy and all additional required training. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing; blow molding or beverage experience preferred. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within a defined timeframe. Working Conditions: Work Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, afternoon, evenings, overnight and holidays may be required. Overtime scheduled as needed. Work Environment: Operating in a fast-paced production plant with numerous moving parts. Noise levels require hearing protection and temperatures can get very hot and/or relatively cold. The environment is structured and supervised, with clear production targets and schedules to meet. Travel Requirements: O% travel anticipated.
