Job Description

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Lead teams on commercial projects with the purpose of Installing heating and air conditioning systems, ductwork, etc...
  • Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary equipment.
  • Perform installations to meet our company standards and exceed our customer's expectations.
  • Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition.
  • Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required.
  • Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions.
Position Skills & Ability Requirements:
  • Must be forward-thinking and show good problem-solving skills, coordinate with supervisors or others when obstacles are encountered on the job site
  • Must be able to read, interpret, and lay out mechanical systems as shown on blueprints or shop drawings.
  • Must have knowledge of both high and low voltage wiring
  • Must have knowledge of local code requirements
  • Must be able to design, layout, measure, & assemble ductwork to allow for efficient & productive installation of HVAC systems.
  • Must be proficient in piping work, brazing, threading, and laying out piping systems. 
  • Able to weld using a MIG or Arc welder.
  • Ability to manage, plan, coordinate, & lead a team doing multiple different tasks to achieve short-term & long-term goals.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., and work from 12' & extension ladders, as well as rooftops.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the customer, and supervisor.
  • Professional appearance and personality.
Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Commercial HVAC installation experience.
  • Must have personal tools required to complete the job and be willing to purchase tools as needed.
  • EPA refrigerant handling certification.
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Valid State Driver's License & clean driving record.

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
