Under the general supervision of the manager for cardiology services, independently performs EKGs, applies holter and event monitors, provides patient education and is supervised in stress test participation. Additional responsibilities include patient reception, appointment scheduling and other clerical support tasks as needed.I. Major Responsibilities:• 1. Performs EKGs• 2. II. Position Qualifications:
License/Certification/Education:• Required:• 1. HS Graduate or equivalent (graduate within 6 months of hire)• 2. EKG Certification or demonstrated competency performing EKGs as assessed by direct manager
Experience/Skills:• Required:• 1. Minimum 1 year of experience working in a cardiovascular lab or equivalent• 2. Computer literate
