The Requirements 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, including 4+ years in engineering leadership (people management, tech lead, or TLM). Position Summary:

Assist with and oversee installation, startup and m=commission of commercial/industrial HVAC equipment and serve as a lead for special projects training and development.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Understanding of Air-to-air DX systems – Split Systems / Package Rooftop systems from 1 – 25 Ton minimum

  • Understanding of VRF multizone systems up to 30 tons

  • Understanding of Hydronic systems – Heat pumps / Scroll or Screw Chillers / Pumps / Tanks etc. Systems up to 50 tons minimum

  • Understanding of Hydronic piping systems for hot water/chill water/condenser water, piping installation skills

  • Sheet metal design knowledge with the ability to produce drawings to submit to a fabrication shop to make the order / sheet metal installation skills.

  • Understanding of refrigeration piping systems, the ability to size the piping systems from manufacturer requirements.

  • Understanding of Light Commercial low voltage control systems and diagnostic skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions

  • Ability to work at heights

  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs.

  • Must be able to climb and work on ladders, scaffolding and stairs

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time as well as stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl in order to work in tight spaces

  • Must be able to work within confined spaces

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and customers

  • Must be able to use hands to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Must be a high school or trade school graduate or have a GED
