WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. The employee is required to inspect and safely operate a motor vehicle during the day and night and in a wide range of weather and traffic conditions. The noise level in the work environment is varies based on the locations or activities proximate to which can range from low to high. There is moderate exposure to dust, fume, mists and odors. As Assistant Local Manager, you will work alongside our Local Manager as you lead, develop and motivate the local team to achieve personal, professional, and company goals.

Our Assistant Local Manager Will Also

  • Promote a positive, collaborative environment and maintain our core values and policies

  • Assist LM with preparations for the opening day including hiring completion, inventories, equipment setup/testing, staff scheduling and training, and learning proper opening/closing procedures

  • Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home

  • Photography experience not required

  • Address and resolve customer concerns or service failures appropriately to ensure optimal guest experiences and recovery

  • Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by senior management

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management when needed

  • Assist Local Manager with administrative tasks such as inventory, scheduling, training and/or recruiting

  • All other duties as assigned

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Previous retail/assistant manager and photography experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 10-25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time
