Overview
Job Description
- EducationRequirements: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (M.A.) and/or equivalent educational preparation for licensure
- CertificationsRequirements: Maryland SLP licensure/certification (Maryland SLP license required); GPACCC-SLP credential (preferred/expected based on licensure readiness); Praxis completed/passed (preferred/expected based on licensure readiness)
- ExperienceRequirements: Minimum 1 year of experience with pediatric Speech-Language Pathology, including infantstoddlers, Pre-K through Grade 12 exposure (school setting and/or early intervention/clinical experience)
- OtherRequirements: Must be comfortable working with children with disabilities and complex needs (disabilities on caseload: all); experience supporting a range of speech and language needs including AAC, language, articulation, and fluency; ability to provide assessment and therapy with multidisciplinary collaboration; strong documentation, progress tracking, and caregiver/family education skills; schedule availability MondayFriday (days); local availability/ability to work in or near Rock Hall, MD preferred; background/eligibility required for school-based work; must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a W2 basis (no sponsorship required)

- Provide speech-language therapy services for students across infantstoddlers, Pre-K through Grade 12, supporting a caseload with disabilities (all) based on student needs
- Conduct speech-language assessments as needed to support eligibility, goal development, and progress monitoring
- Deliver therapy targeting AAC and communication skills including language, articulation, and fluency
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and coordinate care across multiple schools in the district (variable caseload; 5 schools in district with very small caseloads)
- Maintain accurate documentation, track student progress, and provide education and support to caregivers/families
