Job Description
- EducationRequirements: Associates Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting (or equivalent)
- CertificationsRequirements: Resume and license and FP card
- ExperienceRequirements: Minimum 1 year of Speech Language Pathology Assistant experience; school-based experience preferred
- OtherRequirements: Must be able to work a 37.5 hours per week schedule (Days); collaborate effectively with SLPs, teachers, and families; strong documentation and progress tracking; ability to support treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP; experience or comfort with AAC, trauma-informed care, sensory-based support, and child-led therapy; availability for school-based scheduling during the contract term; follow all facility and state compliance requirements

- Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist with therapy services in a school setting for students with speech, language, and communication needs.
- Implement treatment plans and therapy activities as directed, including support for AAC and sensory-based strategies.
- Track student progress and support documentation of therapy activities, outcomes, and data collection.
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and families to support carryover of goals and child-centered therapy approaches.
- Maintain compliance with school policies and clinical documentation requirements while providing trauma-informed support and positive student engagement.
