Job Description Summary

The Global Supply Chain Development (GSCD) Operations Leader is responsible for designing, deploying, and continuously improving the enterprise operating system that enables GE Vernova's Supply Chain Development strategy. This leader creates the governance, operating mechanisms, Lean management system, and execution framework that transform strategic priorities into measurable business results across the GE Vernova portfolio.

Partnering closely with Business Supply Chain leaders, the Supply Chain Development Strategy team, Functional Centers of Excellence, and Executive Leadership, this role establishes common ways of working that improve visibility, prioritization, accountability, and execution across enterprise Supply Chain Development initiatives.

This role also plays a critical role in enabling GE Vernova's growth by developing the operating mechanisms, governance, and cross-functional execution required to expand manufacturing capacity, accelerate capability development, and ensure the supply chain can scale to meet evolving customer demand while delivering improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Sustainability, and Reliability.

Operating at the intersection of strategy, operations, Lean, manufacturing, and business transformation, this leader ensures strategic initiatives are effectively governed, resourced, prioritized, and executed while continuously improving the systems that enable long-term operational excellence.

Success in this role requires balancing strategic thinking with disciplined operational execution, influencing across highly matrixed organizations without direct authority, and building scalable operating mechanisms that accelerate enterprise transformation.

This leader will be a key member of the Global Supply Chain Development leadership team, partnering across Properties & Facilities, EHS Technical & Risk, Projects & Initiatives, Strategy, Capital Allocation, and business leadership teams to enable consistent execution of GE Vernova's most critical supply chain priorities.

What you'll do

Enterprise Operating System & Governance

  • Lead the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of the Global Supply Chain Development operating system across GE Vernova.
  • Establish enterprise governance, standard work, operating rhythms, and management systems that improve visibility, execution, and accountability across strategic initiatives.
  • Create scalable operating mechanisms that connect strategy, execution, capital allocation, capacity expansion, and operational performance.
  • Develop executive decision frameworks that support prioritization, resource allocation, risk management, and enterprise execution.

Lean Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Apply Lean principles to simplify, standardize, and continuously improve Supply Chain Development processes across the enterprise.
  • Lead the development of common standard work supporting identification, prioritization, launch, execution, and sustainment of strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate waste, improve cross-business collaboration, and accelerate execution through Lean methodologies.
  • Facilitate Kaizens and continuous improvement activities that strengthen enterprise capabilities while improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Sustainability, and Reliability.

Capacity & Capability Development

  • Lead the operational execution of enterprise capacity expansion and capability development initiatives across GE Vernova's global manufacturing network.
  • Partner with Business Supply Chain leaders, Manufacturing, Strategy, Finance, and Capital Allocation teams to prioritize investments that expand capacity, improve throughput, strengthen supply chain resilience, and support long-term business growth.
  • Establish governance and operating mechanisms that accelerate manufacturing expansions, transfers of work, localization, automation, and other strategic initiatives required to support increasing customer demand.
  • Drive enterprise visibility to capacity constraints, risks, and opportunities, enabling proactive decision-making and ensuring the supply chain can scale to meet current and future customer needs.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to operationalize capacity and capability roadmaps, ensuring execution aligns with strategic priorities, customer commitments, and enterprise investment plans.

Operating Reviews & Portfolio Management

  • Design and lead enterprise operating reviews that provide clear visibility into strategic initiative performance, milestones, risks, dependencies, resource requirements, and capacity readiness.
  • Establish KPI management systems that enable proactive decision-making and consistent performance management across Supply Chain Development workstreams.
  • Balance long-term transformation initiatives with disciplined operational management to ensure sustained execution and measurable business outcomes.
  • Drive consistency in portfolio governance from idea generation through project execution and value realization.

Enterprise Collaboration & Strategy Execution

  • Partner closely with the Supply Chain Development Strategy Leader to operationalize the Next Generation Supply Chain framework through effective execution systems, governance, and operating mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with Business CEOs, Supply Chain leaders, Functional leaders, and Executive Leadership to ensure enterprise initiatives align with business priorities, customer demand, Lean roadmaps, and long-range growth strategies.
  • Foster collaboration across businesses to identify and scale best practices, leverage enterprise capabilities, and accelerate implementation of proven solutions.
  • Build strong partnerships across Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Strategy, EHS, Robotics & Automation, Capital Allocation, and other enterprise functions to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Enable enterprise-wide coordination of Supply Chain Development initiatives that improve responsiveness, increase manufacturing capability, and strengthen GE Vernova's ability to deliver for customers.

Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team focused on operational excellence, Lean deployment, enterprise execution, and capability development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer focus.
  • Influence across highly matrixed organizations while building alignment among senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop broad technical and business expertise across GE Vernova's global manufacturing and supply chain network.

What you'll bring (Qualifications)

  • Proven success leading large-scale cross-functional transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Strong experience applying Lean principles, structured problem solving, and continuous improvement methodologies to deliver measurable business results.
  • Experience developing executive operating reviews, KPI management systems, and portfolio governance processes.
  • Ability to influence organizational change and drive adoption across highly matrixed organizations.

  • Deep knowledge of Lean, Hoshin Kanri, Strategy Deployment, Daily Management, and Operational Excellence.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing capacity growth, capital investment governance, factory expansion, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with experience translating operational improvements into measurable business value.
  • Experience working across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Commercial Operations, or Strategy.
