Residential DSP Support individuals in maintaining independent living skills, such as housekeeping, budgeting, and cooking. Assist with grocery shopping, meal planning, and meal preparation based on dietary needs and preferences. Monitor and report any health concerns, ensuring medical appointments are scheduled and attended. Serve as a liaison between individuals, their families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. Floater DSP Adapt to different home and program environments, providing coverage as needed. Be flexible and responsive to staffing needs, traveling between various locations as assigned. Ensure consistency in care and documentation across different program sites. Remain awake and alert during overnight shifts, conducting scheduled safety checks. Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in human services preferred. Certifications: Must obtain and maintain active certifications in: Certified Medication Technician (CMT) CPR/First Aid Mandt (or other crisis intervention training) Experience: Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required; a strong commitment to person-centered support is essential. Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow detailed care plans and work both independently and as part of a team. Supporting each individual in creating informal support networks which are capable of contributing to the individual's recovery process.
