Processes endorsements and audit transactions through communication with agents and underwriters. Processes new business declines, non-renewals and cancellations. Reviews all company correspondence to ensure applicability to client needs. Maintains account files in accordance with established procedures Establishes and maintains good working relationships with underwriters and agents. Creates and/or provides feedback on project timelines. Answers and processes internal information requests. Prepares, submits and tests IT programming requests. Volunteers and participates in projects/assignments as representative for Operations. Improves/refines professional skills through continuing education and maintaining familiarity with industry trends and standards. Assists in training of other employees. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must Have: High School graduate or equivalent (Bachelor degree is preferred). Equivalent is defined as having 4 years of relevant insurance experience. Knowledge of basic mathematics and problem-solving techniques Mastery level PC and keyboarding skills; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.). Account Managers provide overall day-to-day customer service and support to underwriters and will act as a liaison between the organization and agents, working closely with to ensure needs are being met. The ideal candidate will have experience utilizing and applying computer, organizational and professional written and verbal communications skills to accurately assemble policies and meet deadlines. Responsibilities:
  • Enters new and renewal business into proprietary rating systems.
  • Uploads applications using company automated systems and sees through to policy issuance.
  • Prepares account service-related documents such as client communications and correspondence.
  • Assists in renewal process, reviewing for accuracy and making requested renewal changes. 
  • Processes endorsements and audit transactions through communication with agents and underwriters.

Qualifications:
Must Have:
  • High School graduate or equivalent (Bachelor degree is preferred).
  • Equivalent is defined as having 4 years of relevant insurance experience.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics and problem-solving techniques
  • Mastery level PC and keyboarding skills; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills used for interaction with all levels of associates and/or external sources in a variety of settings.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced; deadline-driven production environment.
  • To qualify, all applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require, now or in the future, VISA sponsorship for employment purposes.
 
Preferred to Have:
  • Commercial Truck knowledge
  • Underwriting support experience preferred.
