Perform trail checks, trail openings, and closings in an efficient and safe manner.Patrol within assigned areas and maintain a strong on-hill presence.Identify and mitigate hazards in a timely manner.Perform trail maintenance tasks as assigned.Maintain hazard mitigation infrastructure including signage, fencing, ropes, and boundary markers.Assist Ski Patrol treating injured employees or guests by managing scenes, controlling traffic, gathering information, and supporting operations.Complete Incident Reports in a timely manner and review for completeness and accuracy (non-medical).Assist with accident investigation recognition and documentation. Support Risk Management procedures as directed.Search for missing persons under the direction of Ski Patrol leadership.Participate in lift evacuations in a support role.Perform assigned duties at races and other special events.Participate in daily training and operational briefings.Transport equipment and supplies to assigned stations, including via chairlift.Continuously monitor equipment and report needs to supervisors in a timely manner.Communicate problems, hazards, and concerns to supervisors promptly.Operate resort equipment according to established policies and procedures.Perform all tasks in an environmentally sound manner, including proper disposal of waste.Assist other departments as needed.Other duties may be assigned.
