Role Summary The Senior Safety Manager will plan, manage and implement the field safety program and teams for the division. This position will be responsible for representing the company during inspections, taking the lead role in investigations and managing a team of Safety Managers. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn. Key Role Responsibilities- Core SAFETY MANAGER FAMILY- CORE Manages and implements the field safety program and team for construction projects. Communicates safety philosophies and values of the Company with safety team members, construction site foreman, superintendents, and project managers to ensure understanding, compliance and acceptance of the Company's safety programs and policies. Acts as a resource to help field and office staff interpret company, owner and government policies and recommendations. Compiles accident statistics, trending analysis and recommend changes or additions to the safety program(s) to address identified trends. Administers and monitors Company drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company, federal and state requirements. Implements accident and incident reporting protocols to ensure that the project team submits information and reports through the proper channels in a timely manner. Provides assistance to Safety team members in accident or incident investigations to ensure the investigation is properly documented and reported and the abatements are implemented properly. Works closely with the external insurance company contacts in reporting and managing safety-related claims and assists Safety team members in monitoring medical treatment of injured employees. Conducts regular safety audits of construction projects. Identifies, documents and recommends abatement of hazardous/potentially hazardous conditions. Issues reports to field superintendent and project management staff detailing hazards and abatement techniques. Follows-up with the superintendent to ensure safety issues were abated in a timely manner. May develop and implement training strategies and processes to support training objectives. May partner with leadership to develop needs assessments, gap analyses and strategic training plans. May analyze training needs to develop new and improve existing training programs. May develop effective training methods such as digital learning, classroom, skill qualifications, and on-the-job training. May assist with identifying and implementing technologies to enhance effective learning experiences. May monitor company safety metrics and identify areas for training improvement and intervention. May provide in-person and virtual training sessions and ensure training record retention. Leads, supports and promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn. Acts as a liaison between the employees, the Company and external insurance company contacts regarding worker's compensation matters. Attends quarterly workers' compensation claim reviews. Helps the Safety Director in working with marketing to supply safety information for project proposals. Helps provide timely statistical information and status on all safety and workers' compensation and related claims to senior management. Attends various operational meetings to discuss safety-related matters. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner. Communications skills, verbal and written (Advanced). Proficiency in MS Office (Intermediate). Knowledge of and ability to enforce all federal, state, local and company safety regulations. Proficiency in company safety software/programs, processes and tools (Advanced). Proficiency in SIMS (Site Information Management System). Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures. Knowledge of various testing protocols for noise and contaminants. Knowledge of various testing protocols for environmental hazards. Proficiency in required construction technology (Intermediate). Responsibilities and Duties: ​ Monitoring Animal Action in Filmed Media Educate film personnel in humane matters, assist in any manner that pertains to the animals that are performing in the film, and ensure the safety and welfare of the animal(s) involved. Report Writing Timely and accurate report writing is critical; the report must be detailed in a manner that gives the reader a comprehensive understanding of the animal action, how it was achieved, and all safety precautions that were set in place to achieve the safety and welfare of all animals involved. Reports enable post production staff to determine whether a production will receive the AH end credit certification, “No Animals Were Harmed®”, provide information for the written review and determine a rating. Reports also serve as an accountability record regarding the treatment of the animal(s). Communication and Diplomacy: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with diplomacy to work effectively with Hollywood program staff and production personnel, including: producers, directors, assistant directors, special effects personnel, pyrotechnics personnel, firefighters, wranglers, trainers, veterinarians, and local enforcement agencies, if an incident requires adjudication. May need to act as liaison to local agencies that have jurisdiction over animal welfare issues. Location of Work Assignments: NAWH CASRs are needed to work in their local and larger geographic regions as noted above as well as be available for travel to various locations throughout the country on an as needed basis. Additionally, international travel requiring a passport may be requested at times and is optional. Work assignments are often given on short notice and are subject to change. Production assignments vary greatly in length, from one hour to several months at a time on location. Production days may be 10-12 hours. CASRs must be equipped with various types of gear to adapt to extreme and changeable weather conditions that may occur during the filming of a production. Research: The Hollywood program will make every attempt to schedule a CASR that has experience and knowledge of the type of animal/animals that are scheduled to perform. At times the CASR may need to research a species to perform effectively on an assignment. If there are questions, requests for further information regarding an assignment, the CASR is expected to contact the Hollywood program’s scheduling department to assist with any information i.e. species specific requirements for humane care and treatment, housing, safety precautions and filming specifics with which the CASR may not have adequate experience. Dangerous animal action, i.e. explosives, stunts, pyrotechnics or any type of animal action that has the potential for serious injury requires the CASR to contact the Hollywood program office for instruction and/or experienced advice. The general process is as follows: The script will be read to determine the animal action that is being filmed. Time permitting, the trainer and/or production will be called to determine how the scripted animal action will be achieved. The pre-production information will be logged in the Hollywood program database. The Hollywood program’s scheduling department will contact an CASR that is capable and available. The available information will be given to the CASR assigned to the production. The scheduling department/production will arrange for housing and transportation when necessary. The CASR will be instructed with all the available, necessary information re: production contacts, geographical locations, potentially dangerous animal action, wrangler / trainer information, prior problems (good or bad) with the company/trainer/animal species/etc. as the information applies to their work with American Humane. All the necessary paper work will be given to the CASR. The CASR will be asked to sign confidentiality papers regarding the production, but these should be vetted through AH’s legal department. The Hollywood program’s goal is to educate film personnel in humane matters, assist in any manner that pertains to the animal / animals that are performing in the film, and most of all to ensure the safety and welfare of the animal(s) involved. All reports must be turned in on time and complete per the Report Writing policy. This training lasts approximately 5 weeks and consists of approximately 1 week of classroom training and 4 weeks of on-set training. The work environment principally consists of motion picture production sound stages and off-lot motion picture production interior and exterior location sets in various types of buildings and/or outdoor locations. Requires the ability to work outdoors in rough terrain, and the ability to work in a variety of climatic conditions. As an EE FuSa Engineer in Advanced Hardware Engineering (AHE), you will support Systems and functional safety teams by performing Failure Mode Effects Analysis on system/ sub-system level architecture & be able to delve deep into board/component level diagnostics. You will work closely with systems engineers, design engineers to fully understand requirements and the capability of our hardware and provide evidence of functionality and diagnostic coverage via verification & validation. In addition, you will be responsible for developing & reviewing Test plans for verification of functional & Fault Injection tests for advanced compute and sensor hardware. Responsibilities: Lead and participate in quantitative and qualitative functional safety activities that lead to the development of Failure Mode Effects & Diagnostic Analysis Read through vendor provided documentation for components and boards to identify diagnostic capabilities. Work with firmware engineers to enable diagnostics and V&V team to confirm the working of diagnostics as intended. Work closely with the Test Team and Test Infrastructure team to help guide the V&V efforts and improve diagnostics verification. Develop new requirements to improve diagnostic coverage of the HW working closely with EE & FW teams. Detailed analysis of Safety manuals provided by Vendors for complex SOC’s microprocessors Develop requirements for safety-critical Hardware to perform Fault injection Testing to comply with ISO 26262:2018. Credence has an immediate opening for a System Safety Management Supportat the senior level who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center WAM (AFLCMC/WAM) directorate, F-16 division at WPAFB, OH. F-16 “Viper” AFLCMC/WAM is headquartered at Hill Air Force Base with units located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Tyndall Air Force Base, Eglin Air Force Base, and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. The F-16 “Viper” is a multi-role fighter jet delivering air-to-air, air-to-ground, and surveillance capabilities for the United States Air Force (USAF) and Coalition Partners. The F-16 program has the largest Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program in U.S. history producing over 4,500 jets for 24 countries. Each F-16 FMS case is uniquely tailored to country requirements / development / funding. Presently, FMS production orders exist through 2030. Additionally, the F-16 program includes the Multi-National Fighter Program (MNFP). MNFP is not a typical FMS program, but a unique, cooperative USAF and development program implemented through the FMS process under the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). MNFP began in 1975 with the countries of Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Norway; Portugal joined in 200. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below: Will interpret and assist with the implementation of Military Standard (MIL-STD) requirements, including, but not limited to, the requirements of MIL-STD-882E, to develop and maintain a viable F-16 system safety program. Will interpret and assist with the implementation of F-16 91-series Operating Instruction (OI) requirements to develop and maintain a viable F-16 system safety program. Will interpret and assist with the application of Military Handbook (HIL-HDBK) 516 and other airworthiness requirements to develop and maintain an effective F- 16 system safety program, to include building Tailored Airworthiness Certification Criteria (TACC) and Modified Airworthiness Certification Criteria (MACC) for F-16 production and modification programs. Shall assist with the implementation of OSS&E criteria to F-16 production and modification programs. Will analyze F-16 aircraft designs and modifications to identify potential hazards. Will support the application of system safety principles to identify controls that will effectively eliminate or mitigate hazards. Will support aircraft mishap investigations with data and analysis of failure trends and historical information. Will review and provide input/corrections to system safety analyses submitted by prime Contractors and GFE vendors. Will review and provide system safety input/corrections to temporary aircraft modification proposals written by the prime contractor and will interpret DR information received from F-16 operational and test units. Shall assist with the F-16 program office response to USAF Safety Investigation Board (SIB) recommendations. Will use the Air Force Safety Automated System (AFSAS) to update recommendations or review the status of mishap recommendations. Will support F-16 flight testing by reviewing flight test plans and providing hazard identification and mitigation recommendations for each flight test and will serve as a team member on F-16 production and modification programs. Will support and document independent system safety assessments and analyses of F-16 production and modification programs and provide recommendations to leadership on hazards and potential mitigations. Shall assist in RFP development and in evaluation of weapon system contractor proposals in support of F-16 production and modification programs. Shall assist with writing and assembling of system safety requirements of RFPs including, but not limited to, SRDs, SOWs, CDRLs, and DD Forms 610. Will provide input to Government on weapon system Contractor performance with respect to system safety requirements. Will support activities associated with proposal evaluations including, but not limited to, source selections, technical evaluations, and fact-finding negotiations. Will support interface with all levels of engineering, program management, and leadership, including, but not limited to, other engineers, lead and chief engineers, technical experts, PMs, and civilian and military leadership within the F-16 Division/Fighters Directorate, other AFLCMC directorates, AFLCMC headquarters, AFRL, AFMC, ACC, ANG, HQ USAF, DoD, FMS air forces, prime and subcontractors, and other Government and private sector personnel. Will support various standing F-16 activities and organizations including, but not limited to, the F-16 Consolidated Board, F-16 JMCCT/B, F-16 AB, F-16 CRTs, and F-16 safety groups including SSG, System Safety Working Group (SSWG), and MSTG. Will support formal and informal F-16 program reviews and meetings including, but not limited to, risk assessments, requirements and design reviews (e.g. SRR, PDR, CDR), PMRs including pre-PMRs, Management Assistance Team (MAT) meetings, TIMs, and configuration audits. Requirements Must have at least an active top-secret clearance. Master’s or Doctoral Degree in a related field and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, at least five (5) of which must be in the DoD OR, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD OR, a minimum of fifteen (15) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD. Specialized Experience: In addition to PWS Paragraph 3.1.1., recommend industrial engineer, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, or human factors engineer ABET accredited degree. Role Summary

The Senior Safety Manager will plan, manage and implement the field safety program and teams for the division. This position will be responsible for representing the company during inspections, taking the lead role in investigations and managing a team of Safety Managers. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Key Role Responsibilities- Core

SAFETY MANAGER FAMILY- CORE

  • Manages and implements the field safety program and team for construction projects.
  • Communicates safety philosophies and values of the Company with safety team members, construction site foreman, superintendents, and project managers to ensure understanding, compliance and acceptance of the Company's safety programs and policies.
  • Acts as a resource to help field and office staff interpret company, owner and government policies and recommendations.
  • Compiles accident statistics, trending analysis and recommend changes or additions to the safety program(s) to address identified trends.
  • Administers and monitors Company drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company, federal and state requirements.
  • Implements accident and incident reporting protocols to ensure that the project team submits information and reports through the proper channels in a timely manner.
  • Provides assistance to Safety team members in accident or incident investigations to ensure the investigation is properly documented and reported and the abatements are implemented properly.
  • Works closely with the external insurance company contacts in reporting and managing safety-related claims and assists Safety team members in monitoring medical treatment of injured employees.
  • Conducts regular safety audits of construction projects. Identifies, documents and recommends abatement of hazardous/potentially hazardous conditions. Issues reports to field superintendent and project management staff detailing hazards and abatement techniques. Follows-up with the superintendent to ensure safety issues were abated in a timely manner.
  • May develop and implement training strategies and processes to support training objectives.
  • May partner with leadership to develop needs assessments, gap analyses and strategic training plans.
  • May analyze training needs to develop new and improve existing training programs.
  • May develop effective training methods such as digital learning, classroom, skill qualifications, and on-the-job training.
  • May assist with identifying and implementing technologies to enhance effective learning experiences.
  • May monitor company safety metrics and identify areas for training improvement and intervention.
  • May provide in-person and virtual training sessions and ensure training record retention.
  • Leads, supports and promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn. Understands JE Dunn's policy of non-discrimination and ensures positive, proactive implementation throughout the organization.

Key Role Responsibilities- Additional Core

SENIOR SAFETY MANAGER

In addition, this position will be responsible for the following:

  • Plans, manages and implements the field safety program and teams for the division.
  • Represents the company during insurance and OSHA inspections.
  • Takes the lead role in the performance of serious or catastrophic accident investigations.
  • Helps plan, design and implement the Company Safety and Health Program.
  • Helps the Safety Director in the management of the Drug and Alcohol program, in ensuring company compliance with 'Entering the Work Zone' program and in the management of Workers' Compensation claims.
  • Acts as a liaison between the employees, the Company and external insurance company contacts regarding worker's compensation matters. Attends quarterly workers' compensation claim reviews.
  • Helps the Safety Director in working with marketing to supply safety information for project proposals.
  • Helps provide timely statistical information and status on all safety and workers' compensation and related claims to senior management.
  • Attends various operational meetings to discuss safety-related matters.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of and ability to enforce all federal, state, local and company safety regulations.
