Job Summary

Summary:Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of environmental, health, and safety programs within an organization including developing and implementing policies, procedures, and initiatives to ensure compliance with regulations, preventing workplace accidents, protecting employee health, and mitigating environmental impact.Does this position require Patient Care? NoEssential Functions:-Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.-Develop and implement comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs, policies, and procedures.-Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify workplace hazards related to environmental, health, and safety.-Analyze work processes, equipment, and facilities to identify potential risks and develop effective control measures.-Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on policies, procedures, and safe work practices.-Establish and oversee incident management protocols, including reporting, investigation, and corrective action processes.-Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective emergency communication, evacuation procedures, and response to hazardous incidents. -Develop and implement environmental management programs to minimize the organization's environmental impact.-Track and report key performance indicators, such as incident rates, compliance status, training completion, and corrective actions.

Education
