City of Providence Parks Department – City Center Rink City Center Rink is in the heart of downtown Providence between Biltmore and Burnside Park. It is one of the 120 city parks in Providence, including 12 downtown parks. During the winter season, The Providence Rink serves over 50,000 ice skating and ice bumper car patrons. It is the premier destination for visitors to explore our downtown parks and a staple in the community for outdoor activities. The City Center and Providence Rink is looking for a seasonal Safety and Security Coordinator position. The staff member will work under the supervision of programming coordinators and will report to the Director of Athletic and Event Facilities. Opportunities at the City Center are fun, fast paced and challenging. Safety and Security coordinator must work to provide the best experience possible for patrons and staff at the facility. This position will work in a security role and promote park rules and regulations. This position will also assist in facility safety as well as opening and closing the facility. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Establish and execute the EH&S regulatory and compliance roadmap for Solar EPC / Energy operations under the direction of the Vice President of EH&S (Solar) Validate execution of approved Solar EPC / Energy safety programs, procedures, and standards across all projects (PV, BESS, repower) Ensure compliance with client EH&S requirements, contractual safety provisions, and project specific expectations Serve as the principal liaison with regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, DOT, state and local authorities) for Solar EPC / Energy projects, including inspections, inquiries, and enforcement actions Provide executive level guidance on emerging regulatory trends, enforcement risks, and operational impacts specific to solar, BESS, and repowering construction environments Lead internal EH&S audits, compliance reviews, and assurance activities across Solar EPC / Energy projects to validate regulatory and program compliance Establish standardized audit protocols, scoring criteria, and reporting mechanisms aligned with Solar EPC / Energy safety programs and client requirements Support and coordinate client audits, third-party assessments, and regulatory inspections Direct investigation support for serious incidents, regulatory citations, and notices of violation, ensuring regulatory-aligned corrective actions Track, verify, and validate corrective action effectiveness to minimize repeat findings and regulatory exposure Partner with Solar Quality Team and Solar EPC EH&S leadership to support implementation and continuous improvement of management systems aligned with ISO principles, where applicable to Solar EPC / Energy operations Validate that management system requirements, controls, and documentation are effectively implemented at the project level Identify systemic compliance gaps and recurring risk trends and elevate findings to Solar EPC / Energy leadership Drive accountability for EH&S compliance performance through defined OKR’s, KPIs, audit metrics, and standardized reporting across Solar EPC / Energy projects Analyze trends from audits, inspections, and incidents to inform proactive risk mitigation strategies Leverage benchmarking, data analysis, and industry best practices to continuously improve Solar EPC / Energy compliance performance Provide oversight of Client EHS validation requirements and Client management system requirements Collaborate with Solar EPC / Energy Operations, United Self Perform Teams, Project Management, Preconstruction, Legal, Risk Management, HR, and Supply Chain teams to integrate EH&S compliance into project planning and execution Support project mobilization, major scope changes, and schedule driven execution by validating regulatory and compliance readiness Partner with business unit leadership to ensure EH&S considerations are embedded in decision making, work planning, and execution strategies Build and support a high performing compliance and audit assurance function within the Solar EPC / Energy EH&S organization Act as a visible and credible leader with regulators, clients, project leadership, and field teams Reinforce a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory accountability across Solar EPC / Energy operations Influence without direct ownership of programs, maintaining independence and audit integrity while driving improvement EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety / Health, Environmental, Engineering, Risk Managment or a related technical field Minimum 15 years of progressive Safety experience, with significant experience in solar EPC, renewable energy or heavy construction environments Demonstrated experience leading regulatory inspections, internal audits, and compliance assurance activities Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards, EPA regulations, NFPA, NEC, DOT requirements, and state-level enforcement applicable to solar and BESS projects Experience with ISO management systems or equivalent EH&S frameworks preferred Professional safety certifications (CSP, CIH, PE or equivalent) Proven ability to engage regulators, senior leaders, clients, and project teams with credibility and clarity Strong analytical, communication, and change leadership skills Bilingual (Spanish) a plus Anticipated travel: 50% to Solar EPC / Energy project sites nationwide JOB TITLE: DIRECTOR OF EHS – REGULATORY AFFAIRS & AUDIT ASSURANCE JOB LOCATION: FORT LAUDERDALE, FL CLASSIFICATION: FULL TIME – EXEMPT – SALARIED REPORTS TO: VICE PRESIDENT, EHS - SOLAR Moss is an equal opportunity employer. We are seeking an EHS Senior Specialist- Construction and Contractors. This individual will be dedicated to developing, implementing, and managing site safety programs.

This position will focus on hazard identification, risk elimination and reduction, injury prevention, knowledge of construction, industrial processes, manufacturing equipment, industrial health and safety regulatory requirements, standards, and best practices.

Please note, this role is 100% onsite in Casa Grande, AZ. 

You Will:

- Support day-to-day EHS Construction and Contractors activities and projects

- Assist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS Management System elements

- Review the project-specific safety manuals and documentation submitted by subcontractors

- Support the development of the Construction & Contractor EHS Plan

- Coordinate safety orientation and activities of unit managers, facilitating the full implementation of the Project Site Specific Safety Plan

- Develop positive relationships with project management, contractors and trade workers

- Assist Lucid with the planning and hazard mitigation of identified high hazard/high risk contractor activities

- Ensure compliance with environmental requirements and adherence to Lucid policies and procedures

- Assist with Job Hazard Analysis and other risk assessments tools

- Conduct field safety observations, audits, reporting and drive all solutions in the field

- Review work control permits examine job plans and specifications to determine if all safety precautions have been included

- Tour work area to inspect fire safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

- Determine requirements for personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices

- Conduct and/or coordinate safety training to educate workers about safety policies, laws, and practices

- Investigate accidents to minimize recurrence and prepare accident reports (EHS Alerts / 8D Incident Investigations forms)

- Participate in and provide leadership to the Construction Emergency Response Team

- Audit contractors site performance and reduce risk with leading indicators

- Participate in communication strategies, such as safety meetings and notices to ensure relevant EHS information is communicated across the site

- Partner with other EHS functions (Manufacturing, Equipment Safety, Systems & Tools, EHS Training) as needed to ensure effective service delivery

- Ability to support weekend and holiday season projects

You Bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Construction or a related field

- Minimum 4 years work experience as Construction EHS professional, or EHS roles

- Experience supporting EHS program development, training all levels of personnel, and influencing/managing change to reduce risks

- Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1926, incident investigation methodology, and risk mitigation strategies

- Competency to create communications and plans to multiple levels of the organization with success

- Successful experience in contractor safety management

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills

- Experience using EHS software, dashboards, or observation tools to drive performance

- Microsoft and 365 fluency is required

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

- Construction-specific credentials, such as BCSP’s Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or OSHA Certified Safety & Health Official (CSHO) in Construction

- Advance Training in Construction Management and Engineering

Physical & Work Conditions

- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions

- Frequent site visits and interaction with contractors

- Must be able to wear PPE and access elevated or confined spaces as needed
