Here is the mission and vision for the team: Mission: To promote a culture of safety and compliance, minimizing risks and ensuring the health and safety of all stakeholders involved in vehicle operations worldwide. Vision: To be a leader in operational safety, setting benchmarks for excellence in safety practices and compliance in the industry. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? The Woven by Toyota EHS specialist US/UK is responsible for assisting the EHS function and the cross-functional team with day to day operations. The EHS specialist will play a key role in fostering a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements. The position may be based in Palo Alto, California or Ann Arbor, Michigan, and reports directly to the EHS manager of the company. Incident Management & Reporting: Report and investigate incidents, and manage Workers Compensation and OSHA issues. Lead ISO 14001 certification programs, conduct audits, and address findings. Develop audit plans, conduct internal audits, and drive closure of corrective actions. Conduct routine EHS inspections and resolve EHS related issues in Jira. Utilize commercial EHS software systems as a technology solution to protect the health and safety of our people. Provide regular reports on EHS compliance activities, risks, and progress toward goals. Team Collaboration: Collaborate on EHS policies including but not limited to IIPP, Workplace Violence, Crisis Management, Business Continuity Plan, and other guidelines for US/UK. Conduct occasional travel for EHS regulatory compliance audits and evaluations. Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, management review meetings, and projects. Conduct on-site meetings with the cross-functional team to address employee safety related concerns, issues, and observations. Assist in creating policies, procedures, plans, and training on various EHS topics such as PPE, IIPP, FOG, SPCC, lasers, LOTO, PIT, and wildfire smoke. Perform regulatory inspections, address non-conformances, and manage data collection, including CERS, biennial waste reports, OSHA logs, and other reporting requirements. Manage contracts with vendors, oversee budgets, coordinate emergency response teams, and conduct regular tabletop exercises/drills. Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans, provide training, and coordinate tabletop exercises with cross-functional teams. Safety Program Evaluation and Development: Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements, including necessary reporting and creating/maintaining a KPI dashboard. Address and resolve safety concerns, establishing and sustaining Lean and OpEx (5S, Kaizen) programs and culture. Develop and implement job hazard analysis (JHAs) and applicable EHS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Provide assistance with the development and update of Woven by Toyota's Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP) via the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS). Review and maintain the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) library. Training and Emergency Response: Develop and manage an effective training program for all employees. Coordinate and deploy EHS training programs, including High Voltage (HV) training, fire extinguisher training, ergonomics, EHS orientation, chemical safety, hazard identification and risk assessment. Serve as a local point of contact for all emergencies, accidents, and injuries. Regulatory Compliance and Recordkeeping: Conduct regular audit inspections, draft reports to document inspection findings, and drive closure. Ensure material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed. Maintain records of discharges or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, ensuring all County, State, and Federal permits are regularly updated and stored. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS B.S. degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Emergency Response/Management/Preparedness in the transportation sector or adjacent fields. 5+ years of experience in a relevant industry with strong expertise in EHS regulations and compliance practices. Experience managing general workplace safety programs, including ergonomics, emergency preparedness, and occupational health compliance. Proven experience conducting incident investigations and comprehensive risk assessments across diverse environments within the automotive manufacturing industry. Demonstrated ability to assess and improve vehicle/mobility operations processes for safety, including procedures for testing, deployment, and integration with emerging vehicle/mobility technologies. Proficient knowledge of hazards and controls related to garages, engineering labs, high-voltage systems, vehicle lifts, and dynamic testing environments. Excellent communication skills for clear and effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working closely with diverse cross-functional teams including engineering, software development, operations, and safety functions. Prior certification(s) in RCRA, DOT, CPR, and First Aid. Prior experience implementing and managing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Hazardous Energy Control Point Safety Programs. NICE TO HAVES Certification in safety or compliance management (e.g., CSP, ASP, CEM, CEIM) is a plus. Experience supporting vehicle operations with a focus on the safety challenges of advanced vehicle development, including ADAS testing and software integration environments. Experience interpreting transportation and workplace safety data, generating insights, and developing performance metrics to track and enhance safety programs. Experience addressing EHS-related requirements and ensuring compliance at proving grounds or vehicle test tracks, including oversight of testing protocols, environmental risks, and personnel safety. The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Safety Surveillance to join our dynamic team. The Executive Director of Safety Surveillance is a senior executive responsible for the leadership, oversight, strategy, and execution of the pharmacovigilance aggregate reporting process and risk management as it pertains to communication and coordination of risk management activities in partnership with safety science in support of Revolution Medicine's products over the product development life cycle. The Executive Director of Safety Surveillance will ensure that high quality aggregate reporting and risk management practices will enable compliance with global regulations demonstrating oversight of the pharmacovigilance system. This will lead to timely and accurate communication of important safety information allowing health authorities, prescribers, and patients to ensure safe use of Revolution Medicine's products in the development and post-market settings. This critical role will require strategic, scientific and clinical leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, technical expertise, experience and understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations, and vendor management skills to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to safeguard patient well-being. Responsibilities include: Pharmacovigilance Aggregate Reporting Develop and implement the global pharmacovigilance (PV) aggregate reporting strategy in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Vigilance Practice (GVP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDocP) in alignment with the company's mission and objectives. This position is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of safety for Energy Support Services (ESS) operations and maintenance activities and general New Energy Equity (NEE) Safety oversight. The Health and Safety Officer will ensure that all field operations are conducted in strict compliance with OSHA regulations, industry best practices, and company safety protocols. This role requires a deep understanding of OSHA workplace safety regulations, utility connected solar PV and BESS systems, hazardous energy control, and hazard mitigation strategies. The Health and Safety Officer will work closely with technicians, subcontractors, and management to create and maintain a safe working environment for all aspects of NEE and ESS operations. The role is also responsible for managing broader NEE safety programs and culture, including interfacing with the ALLETE Safety team. This position is based out of our Annapolis, Maryland office or our Roseville, Minnesota office. The current requirement is a minimum of three days per week in office; however that may well change to five days at any time. General Description: The Process Safety Engineer will will assist with risk engineering, PHMSA, and PSM programs. This role will also be responsible for developing and performing pipeline safety studies. Responsibilities: Provide technical and engineering leadership on all process safety management elements such as MOC, PSSR, PHA, building siting, process design. Provide process safety and engineering guidance to communicate and evaluate process safety risks. Ability to recommend and implement process safety improvement opportunities by staying abreast of industry trends and technology. Day to day guidance of Process Safety Barrier Health reporting. Responsible for management/leadership on PHA/LOPA teams, including review and approval of associated action items. Responsible for leadership in process safety event (PSE) investigations. Assist in developing and delivering training programs, keeping them updated in accordance with changes in technology and industry best practices. Responsible for driving technical processes to communicate overall operational risk. These processes include: Car sealing Operating Procedures - initial start-up and SOP and red line revisions Process Safety Event Reporting and Investigation 5-why or root cause analysis (RCA) Permit to Work Compliance SIMOPs Tracking and Assurance Inhibits / Bypasses Tracking and Compliance Safety Critical Element management Pre-startup Safety Review Participation and Compliance Monitoring process safety metrics and analyzing data to identify trends and outliers and to make recommendations as needed. Participate in Pre-Start-Up / Readiness Reviews for major equipment commissioning activities. Risk assessment and Go-no-Go participation. Ability to interface with Contractor CSU team, engineering, and operations departments. Ability to influence the culture of process safety. Qualifications: Education and Certifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process or Mechanical Engineering. Based on experience, other Engineering disciplines will be considered. 7-15 years of experience with preference in oil and gas, pipelines. Skills: Experience in design, implementation and management of safety systems and processes. Expertise in pipeline safety studies including high consequence area (HCA) analyses and risk assessments. Good understanding of industry safety needs, trends and economic landscape. Knowledge of PHMSA and requirements to maintain compliance. Experience applying risk management tools and tecniques, including facility sitiing studies (FSS) and quantitative risk analysis (QRA). Experience facilitating Process Hazard Analyses and Layers of Protection Analyses. Experience developing and auditing Pipeline Safety Management System programs and integrity management plans (IMP) in accordance with API RP 1173 and 49 CFR Part 192. Asks targeted questions to ensure that the right solutions are discussed and implemented. Clear communicator - ability to provide clear guidance and expectations. The team focuses on processes, policies, and compliance, aiming to prioritize product and process safety and quality. The team operates with the principles of standardization, fostering a unified approach to safety processes, and promoting independence between engineering and Safety & Quality.

The "Global Operational Safety" team, as part of the Safety & Quality organization, is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance in vehicle operations across all regions. Here is the mission and vision for the team:

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The Woven by Toyota EHS specialist US/UK is responsible for assisting the EHS function and the cross-functional team with day to day operations. The EHS specialist will play a key role in fostering a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements.

The position may be based in Palo Alto, California or Ann Arbor, Michigan, and reports directly to the EHS manager of the company.

Incident Management & Reporting:

  • Report and investigate incidents, and manage Workers Compensation and OSHA issues.
  • Lead ISO 14001 certification programs, conduct audits, and address findings.
  • Develop audit plans, conduct internal audits, and drive closure of corrective actions.
  • Conduct routine EHS inspections and resolve EHS related issues in Jira.
  • Utilize commercial EHS software systems as a technology solution to protect the health and safety of our people.
  • Provide regular reports on EHS compliance activities, risks, and progress toward goals.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate on EHS policies including but not limited to IIPP, Workplace Violence, Crisis Management, Business Continuity Plan, and other guidelines for US/UK.
  • Conduct occasional travel for EHS regulatory compliance audits and evaluations.
  • Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, management review meetings, and projects.
  • Conduct on-site meetings with the cross-functional team to address employee safety related concerns, issues, and observations.
  • Assist in creating policies, procedures, plans, and training on various EHS topics such as PPE, IIPP, FOG, SPCC, lasers, LOTO, PIT, and wildfire smoke.
  • Perform regulatory inspections, address non-conformances, and manage data collection, including CERS, biennial waste reports, OSHA logs, and other reporting requirements.
  • Manage contracts with vendors, oversee budgets, coordinate emergency response teams, and conduct regular tabletop exercises/drills.
  • Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans, provide training, and coordinate tabletop exercises with cross-functional teams.

Safety Program Evaluation and Development:

  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements, including necessary reporting and creating/maintaining a KPI dashboard.
  • Address and resolve safety concerns, establishing and sustaining Lean and OpEx (5S, Kaizen) programs and culture.
  • Develop and implement job hazard analysis (JHAs) and applicable EHS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide assistance with the development and update of Woven by Toyota's Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP) via the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS).
  • Review and maintain the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) library.

Training and Emergency Response:

  • Develop and manage an effective training program for all employees.
  • Coordinate and deploy EHS training programs, including High Voltage (HV) training, fire extinguisher training, ergonomics, EHS orientation, chemical safety, hazard identification and risk assessment.
  • Serve as a local point of contact for all emergencies, accidents, and injuries.

Regulatory Compliance and Recordkeeping:

  • Conduct regular audit inspections, draft reports to document inspection findings, and drive closure.
  • Ensure material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
  • Maintain records of discharges or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, ensuring all County, State, and Federal permits are regularly updated and stored.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Emergency Response/Management/Preparedness in the transportation sector or adjacent fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant industry with strong expertise in EHS regulations and compliance practices.
  • Experience managing general workplace safety programs, including ergonomics, emergency preparedness, and occupational health compliance.
  • Proven experience conducting incident investigations and comprehensive risk assessments across diverse environments within the automotive manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and improve vehicle/mobility operations processes for safety, including procedures for testing, deployment, and integration with emerging vehicle/mobility technologies.
  • Proficient knowledge of hazards and controls related to garages, engineering labs, high-voltage systems, vehicle lifts, and dynamic testing environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear and effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working closely with diverse cross-functional teams including engineering, software development, operations, and safety functions.
  • Prior certification(s) in RCRA, DOT, CPR, and First Aid.
  • Prior experience implementing and managing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Hazardous Energy Control Point Safety Programs.

NICE TO HAVES

  • Certification in safety or compliance management (e.g., CSP, ASP, CEM, CEIM) is a plus.
  • Experience supporting vehicle operations with a focus on the safety challenges of advanced vehicle development, including ADAS testing and software integration environments.
  • Experience interpreting transportation and workplace safety data, generating insights, and developing performance metrics to track and enhance safety programs.
  • Experience addressing EHS-related requirements and ensuring compliance at proving grounds or vehicle test tracks, including oversight of testing protocols, environmental risks, and personnel safety.
