Job Description: The Production Planning Associate is responsible for developing a production schedule and implementing it daily. Works with production planning staff to help keep schedules on track. Schedules orders to increase production efficiency. Responsible for matching production capacity needs to workforce, and working with manager to increase or decrease hours. This position is also responsible for load leveling the production schedule. They will work closely with Sales and Production Supervisors to help develop schedule. Builds job according to demand and assigns floor stock, where available, before the production process begins. The Production Planning Associate is responsible for developing a production schedule and implementing it daily. Works with production planning staff to help keep schedules on track. Schedules orders to increase production efficiency. Responsible for matching production capacity needs to workforce, and working with manager to increase or decrease hours. This position is also responsible for load leveling the production schedule. They will work closely with Sales and Production Supervisors to help develop schedule.
