About the job Our Data Team is looking for a Data Engineer to make a difference in the further development of our Data Warehouse solutions, designing and developing our data platform for the business needs. The Role: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following : Champion each of our homes in Marketing by “owning” the condition of the homes from the end of construction/Renovation until a resident has moved into the home – this is done via inspections and visits to the home and conducting sparkle cleans onsite Comply with all local, state, and federal laws as well as company policies with regards to the leasing process Finalize lease agreements for all leases within the relevant markets Maintain active Real Estate Licenses, required continuing education, and Board of Realtor/MLS membership Manage prospects through follow up (texts/phone calls/emails) daily Maintain prospect dashboard on online system ensuring impeccable accuracy and oversight Communicate with prospects before and after self-tours and facilitate online portal set up and onboarding Troubleshoot self-showing errors and facilitate showings in person as needed Confirm all homes have marketing photos and verify that home is in acceptable condition to be marketed, and no access issues exist Complete post turn visits to the home to confirm marketability Track maintenance needs and concerns for marketed homes as raised by prospects or found during property walks Ensure all marketed homes are properly published and syndicated to company approved/required 3rd party websites Post homes aged in marketing longer than fourteen days to the MLS and maintain/update listing statuses during application process Meet weekly with the Revenue Management department to review pricing and property issues/concerns Maintain a high level of customer service and exhibit competency in all prospect/resident interactions - over the phone, by email, formal written communications, or in person Conduct in person move in orientations as needed Serve as a field representative on behalf of Evergreen Live, including, but not limited to, Eviction Court, Eviction Lockout, Utility Connection, etc. Other activities as assigned by your manager Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales/marketing experience in the Property Management industry required Must be a Licensed Real Estate Agent in the designated market of this posting Current and valid driver's license Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and people skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; as well as with prospect and resident management systems is required Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced work environment Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to consistently meet goals and deadlines without sacrificing quality Proactive, self-directed, and highly motivated Additional Information. Position Purpose Under occasional supervision, responsible for establishing, maintaining, processing, and resolving property damage and some bodily injury commercial liability claims within defined authority. Obtains information regarding each claim through various means of investigation to evaluate coverage, liability and damages with the goal of prompt, efficient and accurate resolution. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for managing moderate exposure General Liability claims. Investigate, analyze, and review new claims for coverage, liability, damages, and reserves. Manage investigators, adjusters, attorneys, and experts as needed. Maintain primarily non-litigated property damage and some bodily injury claim files to ensure claims are properly documented, adjusted, and paid. Participate in special claim projects and other duties as needed. Education & Experience Typically requires a bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field. 3+ years of GL claim handling experience is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies Be proactive in initial investigation, claim handling and resolution. Superior communication skills to work effectively with insureds, underwriters and claimants. Excellent negotiation skills Must be detail-oriented and practice good organizational skills. Self-motivated and task-oriented. Compensation Overview The base salary range for the position is listed below. Please note that the base salary is only one component of our robust total rewards package at RLI. A taste of what you will be involved in
- Maintaining and evolving our existing data platform;
- Involved in data integrations which includes internal data, 3rd parties, and also migrations;
- Ingestion of streaming data and applying transformations to data streams;
- Being involved in data modelling following data standards such as Inmon and Kimball
- Ensuring data quality by verifying data consistency and accuracy;
- Keeping up to date on research and development of new technologies and techniques to enhance our data platform;
- Collaborating with the Data DevOps, Business Intelligence and other multi-disciplined teams within Betsson;
- Comfortable working in an agile environment involving SDLC;
- Familiar with the change and release management process;
- Have an investigative mindset to be able to troubleshoot – thinking outside the box when it comes to troubleshooting problems and incident management;
- Full ownership on projects and tasks assigned together with being able to work within a Team;
- Able to document well processes and perform knowledge sharing sessions.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience with modern cloud database technologies such as Snowflake;
- Experience with orchestrating data pipelines using Airflow;
- Experience with SQL, and Data Integration Tools;
- Experience with any programming language like Python or Java;
- Knowledge on AWS Services like S3/Lambda/API Gateways/DMS/RDS;
- Development experience in both Microsoft, and Linux/Cloud environments;
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Nice to have
- Familiar with Data Warehousing concepts and data modelling techniques such as Inmon, Kimball, Data Vault;
- Familiar with data streaming using technologies such as Kafka;
- Familiar with software versioning tools like GIT;
- Familiar with infrastructure scripting like Terraform;
- Familiar with data flow systems such as Apache NiFi;
- Familiar with Data Monitoring and Visualisation tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, Cloudwatch;
- Scripting - Powershell, Unix Scripting
