Courses are scheduled in-person once a week for three (3) hours, beginning at 4:30pm or 7:30pm at the Union campus. Kean Ocean offers weekend courses and some weekday evening courses. Possession of a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification, with Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) licensure preferred, or a school counselor certification to teach field placement courses is required. A Ph.D. in Counseling is required to teach doctoral level courses. All adjunct positions are non-tenure track. The Football Education Interns will be responsible for assisting the Executive Director of Football Education and the Detroit Lions Football Education Team in regard to all Detroit Lions Football Education Programs such as Summer Camps, Half-time/Post-Game Youth Football Games, Specialty Clinics/Mini-Clinics and Girls High School Flag Football. This role is ideal for candidates with an interest or prior experience in social media coordination and/or event operations, as interns may support program promotion, on-site event execution, and overall participant engagement. JOB SUMMARY

Assist all faculty members in the School of Education with daily tasks and projects. Help organize and facilitate events. Greet and communication with students and visitors to provide information on faculty schedules and upcoming events. Proctor tests and assignments as needed. The successful candidate will assist the Dean of the School Education and other faculty members within the division in various aspects of the program with responsibilities including data entry, data analysis, reports, pre-service teacher placements, recruitment, mentoring, and community activities.
