General Description: The Director of Clinical Education provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for clinical education across allied health and imaging science programs. This role supervises Clinical Coordinators, standardizes policies and workflows, ensures compliance, and serves as the primary liaison with affiliated hospitals and internal stakeholders. The position is hybrid, based in Brooklyn, NY, with remote flexibility and local travel. Essential Functions: Supervise and mentor Clinical Coordinators across multiple programs. Develop and implement standardized policies, processes, workflows, and documentation standards. Standardize software utilization practices across programs. Monitor medical clearance for first- and second-year students. Create and maintain a centralized database of affiliate site clearance requirements. Serve as the primary liaison with Employee Health/Volunteer Services at affiliated hospitals. Assist with onboarding and implementation of new clinical affiliate sites. Evaluate site viability and ongoing appropriateness for student placements. Collaborate with Program Directors and other key stakeholders to ensure clinical experience requirements are met in alignment with institutional, program, and accreditation standards. Collaborate with Business Development and Contracts teams to prioritize acquisition of new sites in high-demand specializations. Work with Program Directors and Compliance teams to ensure accreditation portals and program-specific requirements remain current. Collaborate with academic leadership on the design, implementation, and oversight of systematic assessment and evaluation processes for clinical education experiences in support of ongoing programmatic improvement.
