Eastern is Connecticut’s Public Liberal Arts University and is located in Willimantic, Connecticut which is 1.5 hours from Boston and 2.5 hours from New York City.  Eastern is one of four universities in the Connecticut State College and University System (CSCU). Preferred qualifications: 
  • Experience teaching special and general education courses in higher education is preferred.
Position Description:
Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in elementary and secondary education, exceptional learners, and other teacher certification and prerequisite general education courses as needed, and to supervise teacher candidates in their clinical and student teaching experiences. Candidates will also be expected to engage in scholarly research/creative activities, advise students, participate in department committees, and continue their professional development.
