Providing support to the supervisor of the program, childcare workers, relief workers, and Family Engagement Coordinators as needed. Effectively communicates information between units, shifts, parents, probation, family court, and the Department of Social Services. The Social Worker will be responsible for guiding and directing the children into care, participating in the assessment of the progress and problems of each youth. The Social Worker will prepare youth for successful living within societal norms, toward improved family relationships, reunification with family, or independent living.
