We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Education and Outreach Specialist to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary One Community team in the South Central Region of the Trillium service area designed to increase access to care, health literacy, health awareness, and education.

The Education and Outreach Specialist serves as a bridge between community members and providers through outreach and education across the South Central Region Trillium counties.. The Education and Outreach Specialist provides support to the team by attending community events that may include evenings, weekends and holidays. Flexibility is essential to accommodate community events outside of standard business hours. This is a community-based position and candidates must reside in Wayne County. You must be comfortable traveling to the following counties: Wayne, Wilson, Greene, Lenoir, Pitt and surrounding counties.  Applicant must reside in Wayne County.

To join our team as the Education and Outreach Specialist you must have working relationships with community referrals, the ability to manage multiple projects, and have great attention to detail.  Note:  This position has a fluctuating work schedule.  You must be able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
