Autism experience required.Pediatric experience strongly preferred* Seeking an LBS1 certified Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in the vicinity of Lisle, IL * School day is from 7: 45am-3: 45pm daily during the regular school year and will need to be available to work ESY/Summer school 745am - 115pm* Junior High (5th-8th grade)* Many of the students have higher maladaptive behaviors so someone who is comfortable and willing to work with students with higher needs * Caseload is 7-9 students and all have autism; caseload has a wide variety of sensory, social/emotional, functional and academic needs and abilities. * You will have a Para who will be your right-hand person daily and be the sub when you are out* You' ll work in a fast-paced environment using a multi-disciplinary team approach * Candidates are expected to be committed team players * No travel/one school * Salary Range is $60, 000-$80, 000 salary is based on education and experienceStart date is August 12th with students staring August 18thThis is a direct hire position with the school.
