The Systems Design Engineer will serve as the lead technical expert for system and process equipment design, translating customer specifications into manufacturable solutions through detailed calculations, drawings, design reviews, and engineering best practices. They will also coordinate closely with customers, internal teams, and manufacturing while managing documentation, proposals, BOM details, and engineering support to ensure projects are executed accurately and efficiently. Job Responsibilities: Act as the subject matter expert on systems design for projects, including designing for manufacturability. Review customer specifications and P&ID to determine customer and scope requirements. Provide recommendations to customers on P&ID changes based on engineering and industry best practices. Design process equipment according to customer specifications and communicate issues in a timely manner with minimal oversight. Lead design reviews and effectively present design concepts. Create general arrangement (GA) drawings based on customer specifications, input and design feedback. Perform tipping calculations, heat transfer calculations, and deflection calculations to ensure project viability. Assemble and provide isometric drawings with weld maps, frame drawings, and conduit drawings for shop use and assembly. Specify non tagged BOM materials such as pneumatic fittings, conduit/wireway/cord set lengths needed for the design, and enter them into the ERP system. Function as a technical liaison with the shop to ensure manufacturing and component assembly align with design intent. Update as-built documentation at the completion of the project. Perform proper archiving and maintenance of design documents in the engineering vault system. Participate in detailed job proposals to account for material, labor, and engineering costs. Support other engineering team members with design questions and reviews as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills & Abilities Expert-level knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling software. Ability to create and analyze P&IDs and determine design constraints or opportunities for improvement. Strong knowledge of mills, lathes, fabrication, and welding practices to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability. Strong understanding of materials science, including stainless steel, plastics, and carbon steel. Ability to make rapid design changes while maintaining high design quality. Position Summary: We’re seeking someone who is wanting to make a difference in someone’s life as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Residential Options in Belleville, IL. Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities need people in their lives who provide them with assistance and instruction on completing tasks most people take for granted. The people who provide this help and training are called Direct Support Professionals, or DSPs. At Residential Options, our DSPs work in residential settings helping our clients learn new skills, reach life goals, and turn houses into homes. No experience! No Problem! We provide all the PAID training needed to provide the best care. Shift: Part-Time Schedule: 8:00am- 4:00pm and 3:00pm- 11:00pm, weekends and mandatory overtime Salary : $19.75 per hour Location: Belleville/O'Fallon Job Duties: Train, supervise, and assist Residents on completing Activity of Daily Living (ADL) skills. Assist Residents by completing cleaning, laundry, cooking, and administering proper dose and timing of medications to Residents. Assist Residents with bathing, hygiene, and toileting when a Resident is not capable of completing independently. Perform tasks necessary to maintain a safe living and working environment (i.e. cleaning, shoveling walks, etc.) Provide active treatment services as outlined in each Resident’s plan, and as assigned by the Residential Site Manager (RSM). Ensure adherence to daily activity schedules. Daily document services provided, progress, behaviors, and incidents in the Resident files. Comply with MRO billing procedures as indicated in Resident’s plan. Communicate individual Resident concerns and needs to the RSM. Participate in staffing meetings as requested by the RSM. Communicate safety concerns to RSM. Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Pass a criminal/ child abuse & neglect background check. Motor Vehicle background check. Experience with people with developmental disabilities (DD) or mental illness (MI) is helpful but not required. Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license. CPR, 1st Aid, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and DSP training provided by the company must be successfully completed within the first 4 months and annually thereafter to be certified and maintain position. Able to use a computer. Must pass state required CASAS 8th grade literacy assessment prior to employment.
