Job Summary The Senior Financial Analyst helps senior management monitor the operating budget, revenue, and expenses. The Senior Financial Analyst will contribute to the development of long and short-term financial goals, business strategies and plans, and financial forecasts/models for CDC services. The Senior Financial Analyst helps improve processes and operational efficiency related to financial management and helps with business development as needed. This includes developing and maintaining existing systems, procedures, and policies and implementing new ones to ensure CDC and University requirements are met. This position will report to the Director of Client Services and Business Operations. Responsibilities Prepares and analyzes budgets and variance reports. Works with the financial accounting system to allocate, authorize, monitor, and control expenses. Serves as primary conduit to other University financial teams. Provides pricing and profitability analysis to CDC management for RFPs, client, vendor, and service provider agreements. Supports and develops related processes. Reviews and updates business and financial systems, metrics, dashboards, and reports; analyzes expenses and profit indicators, alerts management to key trends. Works with CDC University procurement teams to fulfill competitive bidding requirements; establish new vendors and service providers. May work with other administrators on the procurement process, allocates expenditures for authorization, and advises in communications regarding funding agencies, subcontractors, and others at the instruction and direction of others. Analyzes and prepares budgets, creates accounts, and works with the financial accounting system to allocate, authorize, monitor, and control expenses. Performs other related work as needed. Minimum Qualifications Education: Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field. Work Experience: Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline. Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst helps senior management monitor the operating budget, revenue, and expenses. The Senior Financial Analyst will contribute to the development of long and short-term financial goals, business strategies and plans, and financial forecasts/models for CDC services. The Senior Financial Analyst helps improve processes and operational efficiency related to financial management and helps with business development as needed. This includes developing and maintaining existing systems, procedures, and policies and implementing new ones to ensure CDC and University requirements are met. This position will report to the Director of Client Services and Business Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and analyzes budgets and variance reports. Works with the financial accounting system to allocate, authorize, monitor, and control expenses. Serves as primary conduit to other University financial teams.
  • Provides pricing and profitability analysis to CDC management for RFPs, client, vendor, and service provider agreements. Supports and develops related processes.
  • Reviews and updates business and financial systems, metrics, dashboards, and reports; analyzes expenses and profit indicators, alerts management to key trends.
  • Works with CDC University procurement teams to fulfill competitive bidding requirements; establish new vendors and service providers.
  • May work with other administrators on the procurement process, allocates expenditures for authorization, and advises in communications regarding funding agencies, subcontractors, and others at the instruction and direction of others.
  • Analyzes and prepares budgets, creates accounts, and works with the financial accounting system to allocate, authorize, monitor, and control expenses.
  • Performs other related work as needed.
