The Regional Director of Strategic Growth is a pivotal C-suite role, tasked with spearheading the organization's expansion strategy across Southern Illinois. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Regional Director will oversee a team of approximately five business development liaisons, leveraging data-driven insights and visionary leadership to achieve ambitious census and revenue targets. This role will manage a territory in Southern Illinois and oversee a team of approximately five liaisons/marketers. Key Responsibilities Strategic Vision and Execution : Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy to expand referral networks with hospitals, physician groups, home health agencies, and other high-value partners, aligning with organizational objectives. Leadership and Team Development : Provide inspirational leadership to a team of business development liaisons, fostering a high-performance culture through mentorship, professional development, and strategic guidance. Market Intelligence and Positioning : Leverage advanced analytics to monitor market dynamics, competitor strategies, and referral trends, positioning the organization as the preferred partner in the region. Executive Relationship Management : Cultivate and sustain strategic relationships with C-suite executives, key opinion leaders, and decision-makers across healthcare systems, rehabilitation centers, and senior care networks. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with clinical, operational, and executive leadership to ensure seamless integration of business development strategies with care delivery and organizational goals. Performance Optimization : Establish and track KPIs related to census growth, referral conversion rates, and team performance, driving continuous improvement through actionable insights. Innovation and Opportunity Identification : Identify and capitalize on emerging markets, innovative partnership models, and untapped opportunities to expand the organization's regional influence. Regulatory and Ethical Standards : Ensure all business development activities adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and the organization's commitment to ethical practices. Qualifications Experience : 8+ years of progressive leadership in healthcare business development, with a focus on skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute care sectors. Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing high-performing teams. Industry Expertise : Deep knowledge of the skilled nursing and post-acute care landscape, including referral ecosystems, payer dynamics, and competitive positioning.
