Position: CNO Analyst/Programmer Location: US – MD, Ft. Meade Category: Software 

Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Education Requirement: BS in Computer Science (or related field) 

Experience Requirement: 0-2 years 

We are seeking an entry level CNO Analyst/Programmer to support the design and development of custom software for CNO tools and techniques. You will assist in developing end-to-end data flow and tasking into CNO tools, participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews, and contribute to documentation following the Government’s software development procedures and processes. 

This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a foundational understanding of software development and programming across multiple platforms, including Windows, UNIX, embedded, and mobile systems. You will gain hands-on experience with Government software processes while contributing to mission-critical projects. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop custom software solutions for CNO tools and techniques 

  • Design and implement end-to-end data flow and tasking within CNO tools 

  • Program in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python 

  • Develop Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET 

  • Develop UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments 

  • Contribute to embedded or mobile platform development using proprietary, GOTS, or open-source build environments 

  • Author and maintain software documentation 

  • Participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews per Government procedures 

  • Assist senior staff in software testing, integration, and debugging 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or related field 

  • 0+ years of relevant experience (or High School diploma + 4 years) 

  • Familiarity with programming in multiple languages (Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, Python) 

  • Understanding of Windows, UNIX, embedded, or mobile development environments 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 

Clearance Requirement: This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of full scope polygraph. Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government. Factors considered for a U.S. Government Security Clearance include, but are not limited to: 

  • U.S. Citizenship 

  • Favorable Criminal History Check 

  • Education Verification 

  • Abuse/Illegal Drug Use 

  • Credit Check 

  • Subject Interview
