We are looking for you to join our team as an I&T Staff Test Lead Systems Engineer based out of Baltimore, MD. This position is contingent upon the ability to obtain or maintain an active DoD Secret clearance. Roles and Responsibilities: Perform hands-on integration and testing of sophisticated RF sensor systems, including both hardware and software components in development and production environments. Synthesizes internal and external customer needs and requirements into system tests that acknowledge technical and schedule constraints. Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for verifying system requirements. Lead I&T readiness reviews, design reviews and conducts audits of I&T program facilities. Coordinates integrated testing activities that may include environmental, reliability and the occasional flight test. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive reports. Uses modeling and simulation tools to expedite testing of individual units before all system components are available and for troubleshooting and repair of failed units. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience, a Master's degree with 10 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 8 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. U.S. Citizenship is required. The ability to obtain/maintain an Active DoD secret clearance. Experience with lab test equipment: i.e.: function generator, oscilloscope, multi meter, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, etc. Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex HW/SW integration problems. We are looking for you to join our team as an I&T Staff Test Lead Systems Engineer based out of Baltimore, MD.

This position is contingent upon the ability to obtain or maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on integration and testing of sophisticated RF sensor systems, including both hardware and software components in development and production environments.

  • Synthesizes internal and external customer needs and requirements into system tests that acknowledge technical and schedule constraints.

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for verifying system requirements.

  • Lead I&T readiness reviews, design reviews and conducts audits of I&T program facilities.

  • Coordinates integrated testing activities that may include environmental, reliability and the occasional flight test.

  • Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.

  • Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive reports.

  • Uses modeling and simulation tools to expedite testing of individual units before all system components are available and for troubleshooting and repair of failed units.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience, a Master's degree with 10 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 8 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • The ability to obtain/maintain an Active DoD secret clearance.

  • Experience with lab test equipment: i.e.: function generator, oscilloscope, multi meter, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, etc.

  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex HW/SW integration problems.

  • Knowledge of RF, Radar Systems, EW, or EOIR

  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

  • Knowledge of embedded systems design and implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical fields.

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher

  • Experience with Control Account Manager (CAM)/ Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

  • Experience with proposals, basis of estimate creation, etc.

  • Experience testing software written in C, C++.

  • Experience developing scripts in python to automate manual processes.

  • Experience coding in MATLAB to support capability characterization.

  • Experience with LabVIEW, or similar software for automating test procedures.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $163,200.00 - $244,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
